Obviously it's not perfect and it lacked a lot of polish but in my opinion it's the only game in the series that managed to capture (as best they could) the essence of the classic style but in 3D.

I love getting lost in the atmosphere of the N64 Castlevania games, even when I'm fighting with the controls.

dragon's dogma 2. it's basically dd1.5 and some of the vocations are stripped down from their dark arisen counterparts, and they ditched the trifecta they had going too. illusionist is just shit. it does nothing worthwhile or effective. only good thing about it is the outfits. wayfinder makes up for some of those things by letting you combine the weapons and actions from the other vocations allowing you to some interesting combos.
