Anime Anime you want to be remastered/adapted

I just really want a good Berserk anime that actually covers a good portion of the story...

Way back when Kid Icarus Uprising came out, they did a few little anime shorts for it, and I thought they were just the cat's meow! That game was begging for an anime adaptation – they had all the characters, the story, and the voice actors right there! Why didn't they just spring for a full series!? That's on YOU, Sakurai.

I really thought that game's characters, especially Pit and Palutena and Hades, were really funny and endearing, and there was a lot of opportunity for both dramatic storylines and playful slice-of-life humor in a Greco-Roman setting. (I don't think I've ever seen a comedy anime in that setting, before – I'd watch the F out of that!) I was also very surprised by how risque a few of them were – one of them starts with Palutena in the bath! (The game had a bit of envelope-pushing humor, which I appreciated.) Even the English VAs were good – I can't believe they didn't capitalize on that.
Unfortunately Nintendo is overprotective to the idea of anime adaptions putting aside some short specials and a few anime they've made in the past. Meanwhile Nintendo has manga for almost all their famous franchises. Same goes for many other video games by other companies that have zero anime adaptions but lots of manga adaptions.

Forgot to add this since I actually watched both Zeta Gundam and Victory Gundam (Doesn't really need a remaster ... the animation there was actually still great quality even in today's standards) in a crazy 'got nothing else better to do after I come home from work' marathon

I mean there's a New Translation Trilogy ... but those only had a few minutes of remastered scenes and the rest were practically old animation ... just like how Dragon Ball Kai was treated (grr!) ... Would be incredible if the series was remastered in full ! The message the series tries to convey would relate to how things are nowadays than it was before in the 80s too ~

I wish Gundam series all had a movie summarising the story. I don't have time to watch 40+ episodes.

Soul Eater, part of the anime was made up because (I think) the manga was still ongoing at the time.

Magi, the anime in incomplete, only two seasons and no final.

Kekkaishi, only one season.

None of them. Unless the anime is actually bad and there's no alternatives, then I don't really see a need to. Let's be real, who is actually gonna watch Sailor Moon Crystal when the OG anime exists? You could argue "Berserk 2016" but the biggest reason that is even brought up was because the original anime was far better. Also, if an anime I like gets remastered, there is no way in hell that I'm gonna pick up the 5,000th streaming service just to see it.

I am just now seeing the "adaption" part.

-Blazblue
-a full run for Gunvolt
-Fire Emblem 1 and 3 so Americans can ACTUALLY get some Marth media since our localisation was, you know, taken out back same day as 3D All Stars and Nintendo prolly ain't interested in porting the DS remakes
-Yakuza...'s spinoffs. It would be incredibly hype to have Ishin get one. For bonus points, Black Panther too. If the team isn't interested in localising them, an anime would be worth it.
-Shin Megami Tensei, emphasis on the Shin. I'm surprised none of those games ever got one
-Etrian Odyssey. Anime route would turn things around for the property like Edgerunners to Cyberpunk 2077
-Mirror's Edge (god why does it have be owned by EA)
-Sonic Unleashed, because this game only has an 11 minute spinoff animation. How did they let this happen?
-Atelier
-Mega Man because they never seem to commit with actual adaptations
-Gravity Circuit
-Neon White
-Ultrakill
-Freedom Planet
-Spark the Electric Jester
-Undertale (anyone surprised this hasn't happened?)
-R-Type, Metal Black, Ketsui, Espgaluda... SHMUPs have a lot of material good for one shots and short anime
-Castlevania games outside the NES, animated Shanoa would make me tweak
-Baroque (movie)
-Stella Glow
-Clock Tower (movie)
-Haunting Ground (movie)
-Rule of Rose (movie)
-Shadow Hearts
-MadWorld
-Iconoclasts
-Custom Robo
-Virtual On
-Shining Force
-Lords of Thunder
-Ys
-Va11-Hall-A
-The Gray Garden & Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea (Mogeko Castle can rot where it belongs)
-All Vanillaware games (bias to Princess Crown for not releasing here officially)
-Persona 1 & 2

I'm not that into the idea of a faithful adaptation of anything, since I believe that the director's vision on how to tell a story is as important as the source material. That said, I'm a When They Cry fan, and the anime we had for Umineko is sad at best, even though I am well aware that Umineko is gigantic, and adapting it would last as long as a battle shounen from the 2000s.

If I go for new adaptations, I would choose an adaptation of Again!!, the manga by Mitsurou Kubo. It was a life-changing experience reading it, and seeing it animated would be very cool.

I think a Jagaaan adaption would do really well these days. As for an anime I want remade, it has to be Tokyo Ghoul + Re. TG is one my favourite manga of all time and the anime adaption did it dirty. While kinda mediocre, Claymore is also pretty close to my heart so I'd love a continuation of the anime that completes the story present in the manga.

I'd love for them to do an actual Pretear anime that follows the manga's plot and character designs.

The current one is....a choice.
