Done Allow users to show age, but not birthday

Currently, you can only display your age if you display your full birthday along with it. I liked having my age visible upon hover but find my birthday to be more personal information I don’t feel comfortable displaying all the time. I know I could just put my age in my bio or my title but I find that gauche lmao.

lol, that is a good point. On a given day, the odds are 1/365 someone has access to that info. I guess it is how comfortable you are with those odds

It would be pretty easy to write a script that scrapes it every day without having to do anything.

I have to agree with Graw here. If your goal is to hide your birthdate, then both scenarios are completely counterproductive to that.

Birthday plus personal info you may have accidentally said on the forum could be used to dox you. If you use the same username on a different site it becomes even easier. You might think it's not a big deal and it's probably not but I've seen things like that come back and bite people. There's a lot of people on the internet with too much time on their hands and ill intentions. I think adding your real birthday to a site like this is poor opsec period.
