Done Add A Thinking reaction of some kind

I'd like one too and I already did one here:

I'm not adding more than 10, that's an already insane amount for reactions.
If people want thinking, then one has to go:

Thanks, Like, Heart and Fire are all about the same sentiment with nuances.

I think the ones we have now are the perfect mix.

Yeah, never saw the sense in having "thanks", but I also don't see much sense in having "thinking".

I think "thinking" is able to be used too sarcastically to warrant including. The "Huh?" and "OMG" are perfectly fine for the more out-there reactions, imo.

If someone poses a good question or gives me something to think about, I'd use it. There were a few posts where like, or huh?, didn't necessarily fit.
Like wondering if a shovel and pitchfork is considered a polearm.

That's true. I guess I'm just skeptical because the thinking emoji is so often used as a "are you fucking stupid" indicator online, and I'm just cautious of stuff being able to be used like that because leaving snide reactions to make the original poster second-guess themselves without engaging in discussion is like the opposite of the purpose of a forum.

I don't disagree with you, but if someone is feeling mean spirited even "huh" and "OMG" could impliy an offensive reaction, depending on the context.

Oh yeah, you're totally right.
I was sort of against the "Huh" reaction initially, but people seem to be using it in a good way, so I guess I got proven wrong on that one ?

if we have to replace one I'd personally say wither get rid of either OMG or Angry, they overlap in purpose in my experience, while thanks has its own unique use and expressing gratitude toward a user for providing information or doing something to help out. Whereas Heart is just saying that you really liked a post, at least that's what it seems like to me

To me, Heart means you love it or to show compassion.
OMG represents shock or "wow" and Angry is for anger towards the contents of the post, not necessarily towards the person who posted it.
I figure if a person really wants to say "thanks" they can leave a like or a heart and post a thank you.

I do think heart encapsulates affection, agreement and other positive interactions.
The thumbs up is really nice (love Wario) so I think it should stay. If we add a thinking emote to replace another, I think the Phoenix Wright one is perfect, as it means exactly what it shows.

if there were to get rid of one it would probably be thanks, its almost looks the same as the like one

If you ask me, it being a Sonic emote sold it, heh.

RIP ::huhsonic reaction.
::thinking took it's place.

Should we just disable thinking and thank you?
You mean remove those 2 and add back ::huhsonic or remove ::huhsonic as well?
I'm not really sure anymore. There were suggestion pages for ::thank-you, ::huhsonic, and ::thinking so people obviously want these but if something has to go maybe a poll would be best.

I think "thinking" might be better served by just *actually posting*, but I like Thank You!

Sometimes, that's all you're trying to say.

True, the element of vagueness can also harm discussion. It’s preferable if the person speaks their mind, rather than substitute a dislike button and potentially make the other user uncomfortable.

:loldog and ::angrygenjin can be used maliciously too, though. If some posts something sad like a family member passing away and someone else reacts with LOL, as an example. It's just something you have to trust the community to not do.
