dont really have any ideas for what would be but we dont really have any of that kind at present
I agree.I think Thanks can go because Heart and Like are so similar to it.
Externalized introspection? haha.Yeah, never saw the sense in having "thanks", but I also don't see much sense in having "thinking".
I think "thinking" is able to be used too sarcastically to warrant including. The "Huh?" and "OMG" are perfectly fine for the more out-there reactions, imo.Yeah, never saw the sense in having "thanks", but I also don't see much sense in having "thinking".
That's true. I guess I'm just skeptical because the thinking emoji is so often used as a "are you fucking stupid" indicator online, and I'm just cautious of stuff being able to be used like that because leaving snide reactions to make the original poster second-guess themselves without engaging in discussion is like the opposite of the purpose of a forum. If someone poses a good question or gives me something to think about, I'd use it. There were a few posts where like, or huh?, didn't necessarily fit.
Like wondering if a shovel and pitchfork is considered a polearm.

Popular fantasy and video game spears and assorted polearms
I know fantasy swords are all the rage, but I need something a little longer. post about polearms you like, characters that have fun polearm combat, and famous named weapons that you'd call a spear. give me those popular polearms, those holy halberds. those nifty naginatas, those charming Qiang...retrogametalk.com
I don't disagree with you, but if someone is feeling mean spirited even "huh" and "OMG" could impliy an offensive reaction, depending on the context.leaving snide reactions to make the original poster second-guess themselves without engaging in discussion is like the opposite of the purpose of a forum.
Oh yeah, you're totally right.I don't disagree with you, but if someone is feeling mean spirited even "huh" and "OMG" could impliy an offensive reaction, depending on tye context.
I do think heart encapsulates affection, agreement and other positive interactions. To me, Heart means you love it or to show compassion.
OMG represents shock or "wow" and Angry is for anger towards the contents of the post, not necessarily towards the person who posted it.
I figure if a person really wants to say "thanks" they can leave a like or a heart and post a thank you.
If you ask me, it being a Sonic emote sold it, heh.Oh yeah, you're totally right.
I was sort of against the "Huh" reaction initially, but people seem to be using it in a good way, so I guess I got proven wrong on that one ?
You mean remove those 2 and add backShould we just disable thinking and thank you?
True, the element of vagueness can also harm discussion. It’s preferable if the person speaks their mind, rather than substitute a dislike button and potentially make the other user uncomfortable.I think "thinking" might be better served by just *actually posting*, but I like Thank You!
Sometimes, that's all you're trying to say.
