World of Games is about to release another (BioFury last year) 3DO exclusive The Adventures Of Captain J on April 13, 2025. Speaking of new releases a German artist Remute dropped 3D interactive album on the system- which seems to be his thing releasing music on various retro consoles and handhelds.

3DO is an underrated console. There are many good titles as Road Rash, Gex, Need for Speed, Star Control 2, ShockWave and many others. Besides, it has my favorite Yu Yu Hakusho game adaptation and it's an exclusive title. I really recommend it!

Yeah I'd agree. When I first seen the screenshots they were labeled in development several months ago, thought they would expand on the graphics and tidy up the visuals. Haven't played it yet but from the looks of it the finished product resembles an underwhelming Tempest 2000 clone and a bad one at that. Your better off playing 3DO port of Tempest that came out a few years ago.

One person ported that game, in an insanely short amount of time. Even though the game runs like ass, it's a marvel it even runs as well as that.

Yes the 3DO absolutely could've done Doom better had a full development worked on it.

Personally, the FZ-10 R*E*A*L one from Panasonic is the most "video-game-lookin" to me
Though, I dig the GoldStar controller

I really like the T&E Soft golf titles on 3DO, and there's a Japanese wrestling game that's simple but fun for a little bit. Recently I played through "Supermodels Go Wild" and the term 'play' is a bit of a stretch as it's just videos, but the term "go wild" involves sitting on a beach and standing on a boat, so that might be even a bigger stretch. Anyway, I think it's okay as a system and it's cool to see the stuff like MKII being worked on.
