Since I like some 1990's anime, I thought it'd be a great choice to make this forum & I'd like to mention some 1990's anime that are my favorite. I also do like the artstyle from the 1990's.

Zenki is dope for a random episodic series! I don't watch a lot of anime but I did watch this one maybe 3 years ago and liked it throughout. High energy, likeable enough cast, and the whole buddhist & shinto priests fighting demons in the modern world angle was fun. There were a few games made for this series at the time, the Game Gear game is the best one, surprisingly.

Oh boy! 90's anime! That's a trip down memory lane (I'm a 90's kid BTW).

Let's see there's:
Sailor Moon (my first anime ever)
Slayers
Pokémon
Digimon
Monster Rancher
Ronin Warriors
Gundam Wing
G Gundam
Tenchi Muyo
Tenchi Universe
Tenchi in Tokyo
Samurai Pizza Cats
Devil Hunter Yohko
Ranma 1/2
Record of Lodoss War
Cardcaptor Sakura
Escaflowne
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Fushigi Yuugi
Yuu Yuu Hakusho
Cowboy Bebop
Outlaw Star
Rurouni Kenshin
Trigun
Weiß Kreuz
Flint the Time Detective
Wild Arms: Twilight Venom
The Big O
Zoids: Chaotic Century

...oh, and Dragon Ball Z too...I guess

Excel Saga
Colorful
Golden Boy
Rurouni Kenshin
Shaman King
Serial Experiment Lain
Gundam 08th MS Team
and one I'm surprised isn't listed here: One Piece.

Trigun is the shit imo. I recommend Neon Genesis Evangelion. Along with Princess Mononoke. Those are great imo. Cowboy Bebop ofc. And not to mention, Sonic OVA is pretty dope. And, I have been trying some Yu Yu Hakusho recently. That's been fun.

Not sure if you're counting OVAs, but I like Bubblegum Crisis, A.D Police and Ghost in the Shell a lot.

A most of the obligatory big hits I like like HxH and YYH (and Berserk, obviously) have already been mentioned.

Also a minor mention to Shurato, since it it had cool armor designs and offered a window into Hindu deities and culture, even if the fights are predictable and formulaic.

I never meet anyone who likes or watched Excel Saga. Whenever i meet an anime fan, they're either born in the 2000's and only know post 2010 anime, OR they're my age, but the only anime they watched was mainstream stuff like DBZ or Bleach. So its like i can never meet anyone who knows something like Excel Saga (or Gunsmith Cats), im sure they exist though.

Excel Saga is a wild ride. You might like Miami Guns if you're into that sort of thing.

I actually have watched Princess Mononoke once, a bit of Cowboy Bebop as well as Yu Yu Hakusho in the early 2000's. I also watched the Sonic OVA once and never watched Neon Genesis Evangelion before.

Shaman King in 2001 ~ Well the first one I mean

----------

Eh I guess I'll mention one that wasn't yet since the rest I liked have been
... Gundam X

Duuude Kare Kano is so good, I'm just upset they took the anime in a 'less dark' direction.

Poor Pedro. he just wanted to get back to his sexy wife.

I think Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z was my first exposure to anime. As a kid I wasn't really interested in most cartoons let alone Japanese ones. But as an adult I have an appreciation towards anime since it's a bit nostalgic.
