I dunno, I just searched Zuma on the repo before I made that comment and this post was the only result it found. I figured if we were gonna have the 2nd game we could at least have a version of the first game too. There's the Windows version of Zuma Deluxe which is an improved version of the first game that also has mouse controls. So we could add that too if you wanted something with touch-ish controls. I'm not sure if it has ever become abandonware at this point or not.

edit: yeah that's the PSP minis version. I don't think there's a version that isn't a PSN mini. You must have posted it not long after I made my comment
I posted it around the same time but before I saw your comment, this is also on PS3 is where I played it but the PS3 allowed for usb mouse, I agree this needs to be preserved, it's still a viable way to play this game and might be the most accessible atm, I just wish they put it on DS too, it didn't even come to the 3DS only the sequel.

I just shared Zuma for PSP PSN is it not the same game?

Hot take, while I like Zuma, playing it on PSP is not my ideal way because of the lack of touch controls, this is why I liked the Sparkle games on the Vita because they give you the option to use the analog stick or the touch screen and playing it online is fun to waste an hour.

I mentioned the Sparkle series in my other comment. I have all of them installed on my Vita. Also, could you add the Zuma PSP Mini? It's a PSP port of the PS3 version of the first game. You can find it here

If you're a PS Vita user there's a game very similar to Zuma called Sparkle, there are three games on the Vita afaik, you can use the controller or touch screen, I remember I downloaded a free demo with a lot of content back in the day before I bought them, they seem to be missing from the repo though, maybe I will add them later but I can't really test Vita3k.

Edit: Done.

Nice, I'll check it out and add it to my R4 flashcart

I've never played either Zuma game but how does it compare to Luxor or the Sparkle games? They're basically the same sorta thing. Luxor on PSP is pretty good.
I always liked Zuma more than Luxor, Luxor only lets you move horizontally while Zuma gives you 360 moves and in some levels it lets you change your position.

Very similar in some ways though zuma pinched the rotating mechanic from an old Mitchell arcade game that also got a release on DS as Magnetica.

I prefer Zuma's Revenge to original Zuma, though both are good games.
