I know, sometimes depending on remaining money from a major purchase, i spend on some cheap PSP/Mini... Its very fun process: I make the purchase on the PS3 store and i connect my PSP thorught wifi to download the game from the PSP Store download list (it works!!), later i manually transfer the game to the Vita and to the very PS3 and can even play throught the official Ps3/PSP emulator... :DAfaik PSP online stores shut down a couple of years ago, only PS3 and PS Vita are still up (somewhat), the PS3 version lets you use a mouse from what I remember, correct me if I'm misremembering.
I told you i beat Zuma on PSP with a bit of skill on selecting the correct analog/pad on the right moment... Touch screen is optional for zuma and maybe loses part of the fun... I tried the first levels of Sparkle and graphics are better than Luxor but the game speed is a bit slow comparatively, i have on my whislist... BTW i first played Luxor on PS2, its very similar to the PSP but graphics are enlarged with is a bit comfortable... I suppose there is some upload on the repo also...I only learned about Puzz Loop two days ago, but playing them on an emulator, the arcade version plays with a controller, kinda similar to Zuma on PSP and PS3.
The PS1 version of Puzz Loop only uses left and right to rotate clockwise or counter clockwise, which imo seems easier to adjust to but can be slow in later levels, also when the curser is flipped upside down, left and right controls are obviously reversed.
I think Zuma is best played with a mouse or touch controls, that's why I shared the DS version earlier (Zuma Revenge) and it's been the version I've been currently playing.
Alternatively, if you are a PS Vita user I recommend the Sparkle trilogy, I shared those also, they play very similar to Zuma and you can use the touch screen.

Anyone knows?

But the arcade version have the same issue with the analogs...
