Konami has revealed a Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days collection that will feature every Yu-Gi-Oh game from Gameboy Color to Gameboy Advance including a few games that were never released outside of Japan. It's now available on Switch and Steam today.

Hopefully we get "Duel Academy Days" and "Turbo Duel Days" if this is successful, I'm particularly hoping for the Tag Force games on PS2/PSP and the Duel Academy games for GBA and DS, as well as the DS 2009-2011 World Championship games, those are all great titles especially the GX Tag Force games

I didn't expect this from Konami, although i am interested.

So the pachinko machines ain't giving enough revenue?

i'll probably buy it soon full price, i'd love to see them release some of the cooler later era games. like the ps2 titles, that one gamecube exclusive.

They are smoking something with that price. I'm interested for the online functionality but otherwise $50 is insane for GB/GBA games. But I know people crazy enough to buy boxed Pokemon games from ebay.

Just a correction: the collection was revealed a while ago, and it was finally released.
The price is high but 25 games is a lot to get. Sure they are "simpler" and easy to emulate, but for those who want to support the series I think this is a great package. Shame it doesn't include any of the console ones - though I think they would consider a volume 2 with them if this one sells well.

I think people are fair to be angry about the price, no amount of old games is worth a 60€ price tag, part of me feels like that price tag is due to the card included in the physical release
Unfortunately you'll come to realise that whoever is in charge of the card game department at Konami is genuinely far more greedy than the game company, often times making artificial inflation and price increases
It absolutely is great to have all these old games on modern hardware, but with no Duelist of Roses and other heavy hitters like the PSP and other DS games I mentioned in my previous comment, the price is a little bit absurd
That being said, yeah ima need that alt art Harpie's Feather Duster, even if I'll never use it in any deck at all

Worldwide Edition is the one I played and remember it being really fast and fun. But I don't think even if I lived until the heat death of the universe, would I ever take the time to play an entire collection of these.

I plan to get it for Switch, but I'm curious, does the collection have built in CRT filters? And are there options for uncensored/Japanese card art?

Tried to get it in a couple of stores near me, sold out.

So I just ordered it off of Amazon.

I actually tried Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories the other day
I couldn't really get the whole construction concept
But the other games ... definitely enjoyed them all !
I still play them from time to time too !
So I'll consider trying this bundle ~

I remember card cunstruction, you just have to wait until you have some parts that result in a monster that's level 3 or 4 with 2K ATK and 2K defense. That's the best case scenario for constructed cards.

Definitely not something I expected to get ported to modern consoles.
