You're locked in a room with a SNES and a stack of 10 games, what games are these?

A SNES and noose. ::koishigun

Well...
  1. Super Mario World.
  2. Super Metroid [so I can try and see why people love it so much]
  3. Dragon Quest V
  4. F-zero [Gotta have 1 racing game]
  5. Chrono Trigger
  6. Another world. Being locked in that room is the only way I'd ever play through it.
  7. Harvest Moon [so I can fall sleep]
  8. Final Fantasy IV
  9. Final Fantasy V [One day I'll either finish it or watch HCBailly play through it]
  10. Final Fantasy VI
I kind of ran out of ideas when I began putting down the FF games in there.

1. Chrono Trigger
2. The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past
3. Super Mario World
4. Final Fantasy IV
5. Final Fantasy VI
6. Space Megaforce
7. Graduis III
8. Knights of the Round
9. Final Fight 2
10. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time

I would select these Super NES video games (listed in chronological order, as I'm typically not the best at ranking favorites):

  1. Super Mario World (1990)
  2. The Legend Of The Mystical Ninja (1991)
  3. Soul Blazer (1992)
  4. Super Mario All-Stars (1993)
  5. Mega Man X (1993)
  6. Demon's Crest (1994)
  7. Chrono Trigger (1995)
  8. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (1995)
  9. Tetris Attack (1996)
  10. Kirby Super Star (1996)

1. Illusion of Gaia
2. Final Fantasy 5
3. Super Mario RPG
4. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
5. Super Mario All-Stars
6. Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen
7. Bahamut Lagoon
8. Lufia and the Fortress of Doom
9. Super Bomberman 3
10. Secret of Mana

1. Illusion of Gaia
2. Final Fantasy 5
3. Super Mario RPG
4. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
5. Super Mario All-Stars
6. Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen
7. Bahamut Lagoon
8. Lufia and the Fortress of Doom
9. Super Bomberman 3
10. Secret of Mana
Cool, another Mystic Quest fan

Ten SNES carts for a locked room?
* Uncharted Waters: New Horizons has a rare mix of open-ended gameplay and story paths to follow.
* Civilization is flawed, but it's a good enough console port. Having a cart means I can't endlessly load and save in order to succeed.
* SimCity is another computer port that's great despite several complaints.
* Super Mario World + All-Stars would be ideal. Four great games on a cart, and one (Lost Levels) that's okay for variety.
* Tetris and Dr Mario would be a lot better with two players, but it's two good games regardless.
* Ogre Battle is a good trial and error game. Some of what intrigues me about computer RPGs plus some of what intrigues me about RTS games.
* Tokimeki Memorial doesn't seem as intuitive as the Nintendo DS era games. With enough time and patience, I'd probably start enjoying a reproduction cart.
* Radical Dreamers is a good change of pace. It's what I like about Fighting Fantasy books in an electronic format.
* Dragon Quest 5 doesn't have alternate endings. Party customization is limited. Even so, I wouldn't mind having a repro cart in my collection.
* Dezaemon's customization features would be better with other people, but it's a reasonably good shmup.
