It's the spooky season again. What are some scary or Halloween themed games you enjoy from the Sega sphere? Got any you keep going back to? Memories from yesteryear? Stuff you plan on giving a proper shot to get you in the mood for the holiday?

My go-to is House of the Dead. I tend to blast through at least one of them around this time of the year and I'm keen to finally get around to Zombie Revenge for more than a five or ten minute test play. I may also retry The Ring: Terror's Realm since it's been on my mind for a while now.

This is literally the only one I can think of that I've played ::cirnoshrug

A weird third-person shooter zombie spin-off of the Yakuza games. It was later adapted into a "House of the Dead" style rail shooting minigame in later mainline Yakuza games

I liked Alien: Isolation, though I probably wouldn't replay it. It's got a great setting and atmosphere with some really tense moments but sometimes there's a little too much waiting around since it's so stealth focused.

If anyone plays it, I recommend these two mods:
Skip Save Confirmation Dialogue for less annoyance and more immersion.
Bay's Alien Isolation Overhaul so the Alien's AI doesn't suck.

The Ring Terror's Realm, I don't care how bad it is, it's a guilty pleasure Halloween game for me. "You ok lady?"

My plan is to beat Castlevania Bloodlines before the month's up. This is the right season for vampire hunting and was the first Castlevania I ever knew about. Didn't know it was a whole series of games for...way too long, honestly.

Castlevania Bloodlines and Decap Attack are ones I go back to from time to time on Genesis. And yeah HotD series is always a good time, I wish the new remakes didn't suck as it would have been convenient to have those rather than hook up my Wii if I want to play them.
