I am a fan of the Old School Wrestling (OSW) video podcast:
One of their semi-regular segments is talking about which wrestlers are in their "boy stable". So, to put into context, a "boy stable" is a list of 5 or 6 of your favourite wrestlers who have not been a world champion for a major wrestling company, and are a little bit shit and/or not super popular.
*Some former world champions like Jinder Mahal, The Great Khali & Jack Swagger can still qualify because they were never really taken seriously as world champion. Tag teams can also count as one entry on your list. The concept was created before AEW existed and before WWE's women's division grew in prominence, so there is some debate on if the AEW World championship, as well as AEW & WWE's Women's championships, disqualify someone.
So, according to their own rules: "As long as they haven't been WWF/WWE/WWE World/WCW/IWGP World champion and there's a little bit of cringe, they're in"
My Boy Stable:
Shane McMahon is debatable, as he was once extremely popular, although I would argue his reputation has soured a little in recent years and that he just barely qualifies.
So, does anybody else have a "boy stable" they'd like to share?
