Your Most Hated Game Developers

i think none.
if there is just one game developer that i don't like i just ignore it and don't care about it.

Apart from the ones I mentioned and their specific reasons, it just amounts down to stuff I'm not interested about. If they make a game I don't care about or don't even feel like trying, I just steer clear from them. Stuff like RGG Studio, or Platinum, or EA (last EA game I bothered to check was Dead Space 3 LAST YEAR while binging the trilogy I never played), stuff like that.

Bashed their own fans for telling them that they didn't want to play as cringe college students committing crimes to pay their student loan debt.
Damn, that's terrible they did that.

after training in the mountains with a master buddhist for the last 20 years, i no longer feel the need to ruminate over video games I don't like. also can defeat wild Nu with bare hands. recommend this lifepath to many

Peter Molyneux, the biggest liar of all of video games and breaking promises to everyone. He killed off the Fable series and the dev team along with it scamed lots of people on crowdfunding, he gives Todd Howard a run of his money.

An aquaintance of mine who "invested" in my friends' studio. Some nasty noveau-riche techbro who wanted fast cash because he saw the indie scene was booming and he probably remembered playing a video game when he was younger, but he knew fuck-all about how making games worked.
Forced my friends to spend most of their time consulting for other studios for peanuts, then fired all of them once they eventually managed to release their game (which they had worked on long before he came along) because it didn't make him millions.
Absolute bottom of the barrel scumbag, and the indie scene is full of them nowadays, but nobody wants to talk about it so it's a sort of open secret they even exist. Rich people who take studios hostage by gaslighting them into thinking they need them in order to survive and act as the leader, then when things go south because they know nothing about managing anyone, they just fire them and never takes any accountability.

Gonna go out on a limb and blame the publishers and executives for bad games/decisions/etc.
Not the devs. Odds are that a majority of the time, they'd have wanted to make a good game but upper-mid-management, executives, focus groups, trends, buzzword clouds (and now AI), and just plain greed got in the way.

Lookin' at your list thinking "Activision, Microsoft, EA... the trinity of suck."

woof, it is kind of inhumanly impossible to defend yourself against these kinds of vampires unless you've been burned once already or have enough money to where you never feel the pang of desperation brought on when offered a (poison) fruit.

whoever developed deadly premonition, because despite I love that game it runs like shit and none of its ports and re-releases fix anything at all, even making it worse. and then they ruined everything that was good about it in the sequel. great job

Yeah 99% of my disdain is reserved for publishers like EA and Ubisoft.
Not developers.

Hating game developers is cringe.
Then you know nothing, Jon Snow lol.

Let's say there are ones ruining the games with their choices in a way they insult customers for scam and make fun of people, and then treating customers or employees badly. And the ones ruining the video game industry itself and scamming customers with their BS philosophies they introduced to the industry. And there are ones believe they became god just because their rubbish sold a lot and became popular so they committed social suicide lol.

Sometimes publisher is to blame, sometimes the developer is to blame. It depends. But things are beyond hating them for a subjective sense of "they developed bad game" or something that trivial.

For example gotta hate Hideo Kojima and Todd Howard for many reasons. After they die video game industry will get a little better but then there are worse people can come to the industry as already newer ones ruins the industry with their BS further lol.
