MS-DOS was my first OS, although I only remember it vaguely. Windows 3.1 was also early on in my life, but it was built on top of DOS, I believe. The first OS that I truly used to a full extent for ages was Windows 95. God, do I miss it. Nowadays Windows is a dumpster fire to the point where I've ended up on Linux. Unfortunately, nothing really matches the magic of those early operating systems that were so unique and novel.

MS-DOS when I was a kid.
The first computer I owned (my dad's old work comp) was an Apple Macintosh though.

DOS or Windows 95 if I had to guess. In terms of what I actually remember beyond blurry memories it'd be Windows 2000.

MS-DOS.

I was pretty disappointed when I went to school and all computers had Windows.

Coolest blue screen ever.

The 1st contact i had with a OS/computer was in 1991 on sixth grade and it was DOS. Our teacher showed us a few computers they got and i did some DOS command(s)? at the time. I HAD NO IDEA of what i was doing. Now i do.

Windows 3.x, granted I only remembered playing Tuneland due to it having Howie Mandle doing the voice of the bear. Anything else on Windows 3.x I can't remember...

The Coleco Gemini, the games were Donkey Kong and Mouse Trap.

Honestly, I don't remember.
But I think it was Windows 7.

as a 2000's kid born in 1999, I grew up with windows XP, my first computer from 2006 came with it, and pretty much everyone was using it at the time.

MS-DOS. In the early 90's it was a prerequisite to learn the basic commands if you wanted to run a game. Windows 3.1 couldn't run anything!
