Your first indie experience.

It was probably Ski from win98 era!

Very fun game! and always being eaten by that monster in the end! :ROFLMAO:
Ski free!
this is a game that inspires pure adrenaline...
and terror in the hearts of those who have played it. I'm included... ;) :ROFLMAO:
play it under your own risk. don't misunderstand me, the yeti has nothing to do with berzerk and evil otto...
maybe a little, because they are neighbors.

Spelunky Classic and Binding of Issac flash were the first indie games I remember playing. Used to bring a flash drive to school to play during free time

Since we're including Flash games, the real proper indie game i experience was Skull Kid, pretty short and gory, but it introduce me how it was like to make a game based purely on a single guy's style, it was so rad for my younger self.

Was this one controversial?

I don’t really remember what was the first indie game I have played. Technically my first indie experience was Minecraft since it was originally indie until Microsoft brought the game.

Pinpointing the exact indie game I first played is hard, but I do remember vividly plaing Shadow Complex when I was younger, really fun Metroid style indie game, one of the few Indie 2D backtracking sidescrollers I played and enjoyed a lot.
