I will continue with classic games. The direct action era of the series who started in Biohazard 4 don't convinced me, turning the chronology now into a science fiction-like series.

Good Capcom would be create a new Gun Survivor entry after Dead Aim for PS2.

7 re-invented the entire series all over again and brought us back to classic Resident Evil and is one of the best RE games in my opinion, up there with the likes of the RE1 Remaster for GameCube and PS3
8 was okay
So I guess it'll either be another capcom miracle or another just okay entry, not bad by any means but nothing really groundbreaking either

Focus probably either on Chris or Leon (Unless Capcom decided to make a new guy)

So expect RE4 or 5 or 6 Shenanigan with RE7/8/4R Polish.

Which means, if you expect Silent Hill Survival Shenanigan prepare to be disappointed (Unless they decided to make a new guy, but that will make you wonder why guillotine-ed Ethan in the first place.)

Well, it's inevitable really, one of this day Wesker do need to come back.
But it's probably not the Wesker that you want though lol, unless Prequel or Remake.

1-3 had cinematic camera angles and tank controls, 4-6 were third person-behind the shoulder, and 7-8 were first person. If this pattern continues, Resident Evil 9 will be the last first person game in the series and 10 will find a way to be even closer to the view of the playable character. They'll probably remove our eyes and replace them with Chris Redfield's for the tenth game to really get that perspective.

Soft reboot, all the main characters are old enough at this point that a new generation of heroes and villains would not be a weird thing to see, just like Ethan, and maybe tone down the supernatural weird stuff and get back to more plausible science theme?

another sequel? Seriously, do we really need another sequel This game's going to be like Final Fantasy never ending sequels No, don't get me wrong. I really love this Resident Evil games But come on, do we really mean another sequel

I'm done with the series. I'm fine playing the old games, but I'm not touching anything from 7 onward. When they jumped to first person, they went from making horror games to making trauma simulators, and now I don't see where the fun is in them. I don't even want to see what they are like now.

My expectations are the same for every Resident Evil. I don't have patience to actually play the games, but i still find them very interesting, so i will just watch other people play it lol. Me and collecting resources and playing in a strategic, careful and slow way don't mix

4 is a masterpiece and 5 is pretty good, I can't into anything after that though
