Nintendo has updated their music app which can be be listended to not only to
I-Phones or Androids, but can now play in the radio of your car via Apple Car Play with an addition of tracks from Mario Kart World. Note that not all music from Free Run is in there, as they will be added regularly in that either this whole month or whenever.

If I listened to Nintendo music while driving they would figure out a way to monetize my free time

hmm it gets really bad ratings and contains ads
and you have to have a Nintendo Switch Online membership
to listen to a soundtrack..

I always wondered how some people could drive with heavy metal music or especially some hip hop when the car is shaking and just a total panic inducing moment practically. I don't freaking drive, because well I don't need to talk about me more here. I've been in a lot of vehicles.

That Fire Emblem song is epic, but I don't feel like it is physically or mentally distracting. I can see a pleb putting this on and just doing a slipstream merge without looking and pulling it off heh I suppose the same can be said for some heavy music/bass, but isn't it hard when the whole car is already shaking lol

Wait there are ads during your Nintendo music that you are already paying for? What do they advertise?? Hey that Legend of Zelda movie is coming out we swear and also why not try this new brand of potato chip.

I over thought the moment a little bit and liked some comedy element of the idea of driving to OFFICIAL channel Nintendo music while driving. I already figured you needed a Switch Online account to run it, which is honestly totally fair. but I want to know how intrusive the ads are. I was going to pitch this post, but I typed this much. I may as well submit.

Whoop-dee-do! Like you couldn't already listen to Nintendo themed music in your car through the auxiliary port, Bluetooth, or a USB port.🤦

Never understood the purpose of Nintendo's music app. Why would I download a specific application just to be able to listen to Nintendo songs... when you can literally look them up on YouTube or sites like Kingdom Hearts Insider and Zophar's Domain, DOWNLOAD said songs, not have to wait an eternity for a specific game OST to be uploaded, and have a wider variety of songs to choose from?

Yes, I know that YouTube uploads often get taken down, but it's the equivalent of killing a hydra. There's usually at least one other channel that still has the song you're looking for in good quality.

Mario keeps urging you to subscribe to more services and it's not even the Charles Martinet version. How low can it go with the ads....

Ha the Kingdom Hearts Insider is still around. I haven't been there in a long time. Also my original post was about burning your own cd still or having some mp3s on a thumbdrive.

Apparently you can't just enjoy Nintendo shit man. You have to got through the proper channels!

Hey I bought a Wii U in its dying days like a trooper and didn't mod that! It still works as far as I know. Also I don't have it but somebody probably still has one of those old Donkey Kong Country Soundtracks from the "play it loud" era and drove to that, is that on this Nintendo channel??? Hmmmm.

*jokingly continuing* If there isn't songs from Mario Kart GBA, I say a riot should form. (I demand bad GBA music on this platform apparently).

I mean I already can. I can just bring my 3DS.

I specifically like driving with heavy metal remixes of video game music. I actually find video game music in general is good for driving because a lot of it is designed as background music for when you're focusing on something else anyway.

Who is this for?
it's for nintendo.

they're really controlling of their IPs. both perhaps out of fear of piracy and they're really afraid of people getting the wrong idea. i think it goes back to the 80's and why nintendo has seal of quality on any of their licensed games.
