Yo dudes whats the literal worst game u played in ur entire life (everything but not mobile games)

My biggest problem was the switch from a slower survival horror type game to a run and gun shooter. It took what made the series stand out and made RE4 into just another crappy 3rd person shooter. It also started a bad trend with 5 & 6 which were also mediocre games. It took until RE7 that I felt the series come back to the old form.
Wild

SNES Q*Bert 3, I totally hated that game back in the day, but I learnt it's popular among some people.

For me it was Night Creatures. It was the last HU Card I bought for my TG16 (Mainly played and bought CD games from 1992 onward) and it stunk to high heaven. Could barely get through the first stage. It's horrendous. It should never have existed.

Unlimited SaGa for the PS2.

I briefly played the first one for the PlayStation and liked it a lot. One of the main dudes reminded me of Trunks from DBZ and he could transform into this Golden Knight form that made him essentially a superhero. It was friggin tight.

I didn't play that game again for a long time. Years later I went down to the then new Hollywood Video in town. I saw Unlimited SaGa sitting there and remembered the SaGa in the title and thought, "HOLY BALLS A PS2 SaGa GAME! LEZ GO!!!"

I fucking hated the game. There was no overworld, the story seemed vague, the character designs sucked, and the battle system was dogshit. I remember it being essentially left up to RNG whether you'd get to attack, defend, or use an item or whatever. I took it back and told them it didn't work in hopes I could get a different one but there was like 7 damn copies sitting there. I was SOL for that weekend unfortunately.

I tried the game later again about 5 or so years later and it still did not sway me. I'm sure someone in the world absolutely loves it though.

IMO SaGa is a bad series in general, but Unlimited SaGa is easily the most hated entry. Kawazu took it really far that time.

Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust

Probably EA Sports's Triple Play 2001 on Game Boy Color. But sports games are really easy targets for me, so I could have included most Fifa and whatever. They just bore the crap out of me.

If I gotta add actual worst contenders as games that I truly hated playing (no influences, just pure gaming experience), then maaaybe:

  • Sonic Heroes on PS2 (I'm really sorry for it, but when I get into an Eggman fight the "E" text remains in the background. This version is a complete mess.
  • Persona 1 remake for PSP (even if I'll understand how to play it and manage better the grid system, I'll still hate it)
  • Unlimited Saga for PS2: horrid combat system
  • Batman Forever for SNES: yeah, this one doesn't need to be explained, pretty sure of that
  • Battletoads in Battlemaniacs for SNES: leaving aside how much difficult the game is, but all I need to say is: level 5. F*ck this game.

I played this last year on SNK 40th Anniversary Collection. One of the most frustrating and stupidly hard experiences of shmups I've ever done.

Easily Soul Hackers 2
Completely generic ass game.
I watched Stickman Sham, a big fan of SMT games, playing it

He abandoned it unfinished, the game was too painful, he didn't even made a playlist for it!

It's the holy abomination of trying to turn soul hackers into PERSONA while ignoring what Soul Hackers fans loved about the series in the first place

mfw I'm realizing these are masterpieces compared to actual other hot garbage if I think more. Oh, I'm talking about the last 5 games in the list. Don't worry, I still despise the EA Sports slop.
I think I only unironically liked the one with the character edito-oh, wait. That was a PES, not even a FIFA. They're just doomed in my agenda. LOL

Anyways:

Final level of the arcade version of Double Dragon 2 made almost snap the control in half. But I don't think the rest is that bad. So I doubt it counts. And yet I would rather play any games in that list rather than this.

.......ok, I will probably return to this for finally beating it rather to play to a Fifa. That would make me motivated alright.

Looked like it was animated with play doh it was bad. I remember people getting refunds within the first 3 days of release. I picked it up off ebay just to try it. They shoulda lost the contract after this but somehow 2K22 was a solid return.

Star Fox Zero and it's not even close. I hate the gameplay. I hate the look. Most of all, I hate the lost potential. Star fox could have been revived, but Nintendo fumbled it again. RIP McCloud.

I was actually thinking of that game too, Nintendo fumbled Terribly with this series, It might be one of the worst generational fumbles of gaming of all time.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for the GBA. But it's not the reason you'd expect.

A stupid game called Shrek Smash n'Crash Racing (GBA). What hurts more is not that I played it, is that stupid dumb kid me had to pick over an Shrek game and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and went for the freagging worst game I could have for the GBA.
