One game that I appreciate in Video Dissertations, and gameplays by good gamers.
The thing is though you have to slog through the gameplay to get to the story and holy shit it is a miserable experienceOne game that I appreciate in Video Dissertations, and gameplays by good gamers.
Personally I always liked its aesthetic and subtle psycho-erotic undertones in role-plays and BDSM, the contrast of innocence and morbid rituals of power and abuse is mesmerizing, but playing it myself felt like a chore, and I get stressed by playing as the one being abused. I can see it in third person, but playing it myself is triggering.
I wonder if it's as bad as the PS2 Berserk hack-n-slash that was made by the same company (Yuke's). Actually even their Dreamcast Berserk game is mediocre, even though it has a good reputation.Eve of Extinction for the PS2. I tried to play this as a kid 20 years ago and well, this was the worst experience I had in my childhood. Then I tried to play again recently to make a retrospective article and man... wtf. This was worst than I thought.
I would like to know why , i played HL1 but didn't try black mesa what's so bad about it?Black mesa its basically just half-life 1 but worse in every way. Every time i hear someone talk about the game i feel like an insane person because its so obviously worse than the original but it seems to get nothing but praise.
It's saving grace is that it is very funny at how bad it is. If you manage to past the intro stages with the rings and get to the parts where you're underground or in a parking lot then you can experience the joy of just glitching through the walls by just playing the game normally.Superman: The New Superman Adventures/Superman 64 (N64), hands down, like some above already said. Easily the worst of all the games you all have been mentioned, OBJECTIVELY.
I know but I meant that, they took the core of the game from mobile version. Rather than taking it from core ps2 ported pc versionIt released on all major platforms as well.
Generally speaking that's normal for alot of people who have a preference for console games, so i don't blame you, i could never get into neverwinter nights because of the D&D stuff like dice rolls.Maybe it was too big brain for me, but I couldn't stand Daggerfall. I was lured in by the rad box art only to be let down by an obnoxious dice roll combat mechanic![]()
Usually RNG like that doesn't bother me too much, but the way Bethesda handled it just had me heated lol. Even picking the most agile class didn't do much on my end Glad it isn't just me who dislikes it when a company goes too ham on dice roll combat.Generally speaking that's normal for alot of people who have a preference for console games, so i don't blame you, i could never get into neverwinter nights because of the D&D stuff like dice rolls.
Wdym I wasn't fun fck u (I was the cartridge)A common answer for sure, but Superman 64. I rented it once as a kid and was stuck with it for the weekend, no fun at all.
Nah, I'd much rather have my boy Den then some stinky Superman 64.Wdym I wasn't fun fck u (I was the cartridge)
Altered Beast PS2 is really rough but it had some pretty obvious potential IMO, and some parts still work. The only part that's really awful is the final boss fight, which is long as hell (5 parts IIRC) and pretty broken. It it wasn't for that I'd give it a 6/10, but with it it's a 5.For everyone talking about Superman 64, you also should try the Batman Beyond one. It manages to be as bad or worse.
And my personal pick... I'm torn between Beast Wars Transmetals and Golden Axe Rider. Altered Beast for the PS2 is also a strong contender.
Yeah, that's why it is like a 3rd place for me. The final boss and the water levels were painful. It had good ideas, but the execution was far from good imoAltered Beast PS2 is really rough but it had some pretty obvious potential IMO, and some parts still work.
