yo can someone help me load this into pcsx2

AFAIK you need to make all of those into a single .iso file.

My old laptop had the programs CD Mage and Alcohol 120 in it, complete with instructions, sadly it's toast now and didn't manage to save the files.

You're using a real disc instead of an iso? If so then click on the 'start disc' button in the menu at the top and then choose your DVD drive letter (E:\)

tbh i did just download it from the repo

No it didn't. You mounted the iso, probably by double clicking it. There's no reason to do that. The method I gave you earlier should still work but it's easier to just go 'start file' and point pcsx2 to the iso that you downloaded.

Don't be afraid to ask questions, we were all new to this at one point or another. Even some of us old hands need help every now and then (curse you MAME).

Reminds me of figuring out ePSXe back in 2000....

It's great that most emulators are as compatible and straightforward as they are now. I remember Pcsx2 circa 2008 and that thing was downright arcane with all the settings you had to mess with and even after you jumped through all the hoops the game would still probably not work, have severe graphical glitches or run at 3 fps. I'm so glad we are where we are now.
