News Ymir 0.1.7 (Sega Saturn Emulator)

I tried to run a game with this emulator but it went "IPL rom missing".

... Anybody having the same issue? How to solve that? I've never seem it on any other Saturn emulator.

Nevermind, Ive just found out. But so far, its video options seem a bit "barebones". I could not make it go beyond blocky visuals so far, so I will stick to the old Saturn emulators by now. Hopefully it improves, though.

Yes, the dev is focusing on fixing emulation bugs and compatibility for now.
But he wants to implement shaders and a GPU renderer and resolution increasing eventually.

It seems the correct term for the Saturn "BIOS" is IPL.
