Feeling nostalgic?

Here's a list of games with Y2K aesthetics, plus other related aesthetics such as Shibuya Punk, 90s cool and more! (curated by yours truly)

Every entry with a red title is clickable, redirecting you to their corresponding Glitchwave page, in case you want to check release details.

Feel free to suggest games with similar aesthetics and they might get added to the list!

Great list, will be checking this out thoroughly.

...no Tempest 2000? Surprising, it should be the earliest one there at 1994. 1996 for the PS1 port, Tempest X3
I read it again and noticed the "suggest other games" lmao

I've been waiting for Tempest 3000 to get added to the Glitchwave database because that's my favorite game in the franchise but it seems it's going to take a while. I've avoided games released prior to 1995, but I could add the DOS version of Tempest 2000 released in 1996.
Thanks for the suggestion!

No gloopy doopy fummy tummy? Really? How come this list doesn't have THAT game?! /j

Ah okay fair enough. Tempest X3 is a port of the game for PS1, if that’s even on there

Some games that I didn't see on the list, but I think they fit:

Cosmic Smash (2001)
I don't think it needs an explanation.

Blur (2010)
A racing game with neon power ups and UI inspired by early 2010's Iphone designs.

THE FINALS (2023)
Its a recent multiplayer shooter that has a bunch of ex-Dice developers working on it. It has a striking futuristic art style, and over the years and updates, the levels looks more and more like something from Mirror's Edge.
