RB's Notes: As stated, this is incomplete from a script standpoint, save for terminology standardization. Currently this will be most useful for the QoL aspect, of which this particular iteration contains the following:

• Combat flash removal
• Halved encounter rate
• Gold gain increased by 50%
• Terminology standardization
• Fast text rendering
• Battle voices and FMV undubbing

World building would be a better name because of the terminology fixes and script that might be more clear when i played in the og versiom , i dont care much about the encounter neither gold rate but is good for someone who wants enjoy a good exp and mainly Takahashis OG script and his main ideas translated precisely

i want give a try to this hack and feels its not going to cover much of the second disc a part that would be awesome be recreated through a fangame or a remake(knowing Square i doubt its going to happen ). It would be a greater game if the development was not such a mess though.

Yep, its a general combination QOL and retranslation hack, though the retranslation is still in progress.

Main reason I asked for the OG script is because the revised script was incomplete. I figured I was better off playing the one with the OG script until the revised script is 100% complete.

Yeah, it's really painful. Maybe if a decompilation ever surfaces, fans can dream up a proper disc 2.

Thanks for saying so, I'm a big Xenogears fan, myself. Sorry about the .cue slip ups, I will correct the affected uploads soon.

Edit: .cue files now should all match correctly.

The Undub's Disc 2 cue file is still mismatched, FYI.

They clarified they can't. I Get you're trying to look out for uploaders, but there's no need to need to turn hostile.

“Fast text rendering” is super important, the text slowness in the original was outrageously bad. But this game would be improved by deleting half the words in the script. The art was great but the writing and story was unbearable to me when I tried to play it, but of course gamers claim it’s the Greatest Writing/Story Of Any Game Ever. (I think people who think that about Xenogears should read some good books.)

Can someone update this to version 0.7.1? And include a version with Undub, Vanilla Script, and the EXP & Gold boost, please? I'd do it myself, but the Patcher doesn't support Steam Deck or Linux.

I'm sorry there isn't a variant to suit your specific needs. I'll see what I can do.
