RB's Notes: As stated, this is incomplete from a script standpoint, save for terminology standardization. Currently this will be most useful for the QoL aspect, of which this particular iteration contains the following:

• Combat flash removal
• Halved encounter rate
• Gold gain increased by 50%
• Terminology standardization
• Fast text rendering
• Battle voices and FMV undubbing

I kind of want to wait until it's complete to get this both because I already have an extensive backlog and also because I want to have the best experience I can with this game.

Just saw the Perfect Works Build trailer & just realized it's gonna have retranslated text too.
English is not my main language but I guess the original was serviceable, but I also more interested if they could make the translation better.
Not to mention how much difference with this "fast text rendering" compared to the original's fast text GameShark code.

Just keep in mind that the retranslation is incomplete as of yet. It has been mostly the terminology that was approximated to the Japanese version (like place names). I'll likely wait until the whole of the script is done to update this one again.

Hi, I have a question. Are the individual quality of life patches, enemy spawn rate, gold, and experience compatible with the Spanish patch for Xenogears?

It isn't, sorry.

Uploads redone to not include any graphical alterations besides flash removal. Dubbed and undubbed are now marked as such, for those that prefer one or the other. Eboots to come later.

Any chance of putting a PSP eboot of this up? Currently playing the game on my vita, the undub version, the slow text and high encounter rate is killing me I'm playing from this asI loved xenosaga 2 back in the day and I'm trying to give the entire xeno series a playthrough.

Only other request I have is someone uploads a psp eboot of the english version of megaman battle and chase, I had an eboot of that on my psp that worked, I fixed it up myself, but it doesn't work on my vita, whereas all the other eboots I got from CD romance and they all work perfect. I'm not sure why this issue has occurred.

Should be. No guarantees though, make backups.

If only someone could remake the second disc.

That's what Xenogears really needs; an actual second disc that isn't just a lore dump with a boss gauntlet.

Dam i really wanted to enjoy this game. Disc 1 was great but then disc 2 dumped so much storyline on me that i couldn’t wrap me head around what was happening. Made it to the end of the came and honestly gave up before completing it. Started playing breath of fire instead

I gave up as soon as I realized how different disc 2 was. I love the game, but rarely have I been as sorely disappointed as this.

What this game really needs is a retranslation that does not read like it was written by a Jr. High student who just learned Japanese.
