Xbox backwards compatibility coming to PC

Waiting for the XBOX X25 Special Edition controller to come out so I can play these without using the OG Xbox controllers.

In the meantime you might want to check out the Hyperkin Duke and Duchess, USB recreations of the Duke and S-Type controllers, respectively. The Duke is more of a display piece than a functional controller; mine got wicked stick drift pretty quickly and I regret buying it. The Duchess is cheaper and still works for now.

I seem to recall many studios achieving cross-platform releases by dumping the Xbox version of their games, tweaking them slightly, and giving them an installer.

It's crazy that this hasn't happened before, but better late than never!

It fooled me with the install. I should have known better. Of course it's emulation. And since that's the case, well.... why not just do it better yourself? So in that light, I also hope this helps improve emulation.

It has been isolated the rmulator and it is being used with other games with different results.

I bought the original Duke Hyperkin when they first came out around like 2018, and after 3 days of playing with it, it got this weird problem where every time I pulled the right trigger it would move my character right in every game. Somehow the trigger would also activate the left stick being pushed right. Never to this day have I seen anyone have this issue.

See, all these games run pretty well on Xemu, so they're late to the party. Hopefully it sees some type of success though so they possibly reboot the back comp program. They stopped adding games back in 2021 and said it'd be iffy if they do anymore games past that, citing licensing and copyright issues as what's stopping them.
