Current WWE product sucks but this is an intriguing look at the behind the scenes in the business.
I don't think this show would ever have aired if vince were in charge. I prefer seeing stuff documented
whether good or bad as i guess its not the 80s and 90s anymore which were a golden age.

Sorry but ppl who think Pro wrestling is not an orchestrated thing are retards

I don't know about this one. I get it's sold as a behind-the-scenes thing, but I get the vibe of a heavily scripted reality show off of this.
I suppose it could be cool at the very least if you're curious about how the backstage areas look! I just don't think I'm gonna get anything out of it.
And yes, I get the irony of complaining about authenticity and reality in a show about making pro wrestling happen ::sailor-embarrassed

The idea itself isn't a bad one, but I think Wrestling with Shadows and the bits in Beyond the Mat are the closest you'll get to the actual thing. They're too keyed in now on trying to turn every aspect of the company into a revenue stream. Pretty soon it's gonna be WWE: Dashcams and you just watch them ride the bus from town to town or whatever. Sponsored by some beer or some dick pills.

Did they not already do a show where you watch the wrestlers drive from show to show? I swear they already did that.

Yeah! It was called WWE Ride Along hehe

Oh hell, haha. You know, I was good when it was like one hour on Monday and one hour on Saturday for the actual story stuff, then they had a Sunday show in case you were home then or whatever. I miss that.

Yeah, just about every company has way too much that you're expected to watch if you want to follow everything.
That's why I tend to throw on a wrestling show I haven't seen from a couple years/decades ago that nobody could possibly care about today when I'm in the mood to watch wrestling.

I feel like if youre the type of person who enjoys Roleplay, whether that be in GTA5, or D&D, then youll most likely enjoy Wrestling, because its essentially the same thing.

Pro Wrestling/Sports Entertainment, whatever you want to call it, is basically a "glorified stunt show". When the stories are good and told well, they enhance the matches (or vice versa, like ECW which was more about the pure athleticism over the story, which I also appreciate). Wrestlemania 40 was an amazing end to a long form story with Cody versus the Bloodline

I see it as no different really to some of the best action scenes in fiction. A story told well with engaging characters is just as important as the action for wrestling as it is for movies/tv shows.

I just watched the first episode and I found it kind of intriguing. It's fake and scripted like any reality show but because it's wrestling, it just feels like adding another layer of kayfabe. like the opening shot of the show has Cody Rhodes picking up his kid and showing off his Christmas tree, the most babyface shit imaginable. It also seemed like a few of the scenes were selling the "cm punk is a corporate sellout" angle.
