What's up, my names daedric_x.
I usually lurk around these types of forums but this one looks pretty interesting, so I thought why not try an introduction, first time for everything right?
I grew up in the 2010s era of the internet, experiencing all of its chaotic glory, for better or worse, BUT I think it did shape me to the person I am today, in terms of my hobbies and such and I really met some awesome people over the internet that I'm still in touch with today, which is just crazy to me.
Expanding on my previous point, growing during the 2010s really did shape my interests, of course gaming but also tinkering with the technology around me and learning the ins and outs of the hardware I owned like building PCs, setting up homebrew, repairing some old consoles of mine, things of that nature. It also led to my interest in cars, which I can thank Midnight Club 3 and NFS Underground II for, ifykyk.
There's quite a few of games/game series that I really enjoy, such as The Elder Scrolls, especially Skyrim (could probably infer that from my name huh?), Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, OG CoD MW/Black Ops, Sonic, GTA, Crusader Kings, Assassins Creed, Midnight Club, and probably a lot more but that would take a looong time, so I'll keep it to those which I love. I'm thankful for all these games I played as they really expanded my views on things in life and also helped me stay joyful even in less fortunate times of my life, I treasure them all.
Though I don't watch as much of it anymore, I do still really enjoy anime, some of my favorites include Soul Eater (first ever anime actually), Dragonball, Naruto, Steins Gate, Death Note, Vinland Saga, FMA Brotherhood, and the goat Neon Genesis Evangelion. Currently, I am watching Umamusume Pretty Derby...those horse girls seriously roped me in with their damned gacha game and I don't even like gacha games...but damn is it fun.
