Okay ... this belongs to the folder " Game-covers that goes very hard ! "

much better cover as the us one is pretty bad to be honest. as a kid in the late 1989 and 1990 stll very young. the man himself was everwhere after wrestlemaina 4.

Man did ScrewAttack crapped on that game. They played the crappy Sega Smash Pack on Sega Dreamcast with really awful emulation. The game was pretty good I must say.

Yea ScrewAttack definitely did a number on this game as well as a few others that didn’t quite deserve the backlash. I think it’s neat, personally.

Or rather, Bad Europe ver cover. because the Mega Drive version port was only released in Japan and Europe.

"Mogan" seems like, which fits as the lookalike ingame (Arcade and Genesis) is called "Titan Morgan"

It was evident because Sega did not have the license of Hulk Hogan since then and also that Technos Japan had the license of Hulk Hogan in the WWF Superstars game (1989) and in the sequel that is WWF Wrestlefest (1991).
