You ever sold a game, console, etc for way cheaper than what it was worth without realizing?

I once sold my COMPLETE IN BOX copy of DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for way cheaper than what it was worth ($200)

I also sold a DS Lite with an in built capture card that I got for $135. It got lost in the mail so I had to refund. Capture cards are extremely rare and expensive for the DS Lite model. I could've made like $1000 probably and to this day that pisses me off lol

i get cold sweats thinking about all the counter strike items i sold for pennies that have appreciated like 50x in value over the years... oops

I've been buying games for two decades but I don't really sell them. Except for maybe some shovelware titles. Huh. Maybe I have a hoarding problem. ::nervous-prinny

Oh I wasted near $1300 on CSGO gambling and it makes me want to kill myself

Not as bad as missing out on $800 but for me it was PS2 Disgaea. I sold it to Gamestop for around $15-$20, later I found out the game was selling for $80+.

EDIT: I could be wrong but I think the price at one point got to $120+.

Every single Gamecube game I traded in for peanuts way back when.
I could have scammed sold them for a small fortune nowadays.

About 20 years ago now, some when I was on a big minimalist kick, others when I was simply short on my bills:
Panzer Dragoon Saga and Dragon Force for a guy for either $140 or $170 shipped, I forget which
Ninja Five-O complete in a lot with other GBA games for $40
Cubivore for $20
A Sakura Spring edition JP PS2 with two IIDX controllers and like 8 beatmania games, 3-4 Pop'n Music games and an extra controller for $400 shipped
There were others, but those are the biggies

i cannot think of any sales
i did give away my gamecube and gamecube games to a little nephew who enjoyed them quite a bit
i think some of the games like little robo and twilight love are rather expensive now, but i do not mind

i sold a promo exoida body card for Reaper of the cards card.i did not know about card stuff back in the day so yeah i was a fool.

A long time ago, I sold a C.I.B. copy of Chrono Trigger to a cousin of mine. I don't even remember now what I got for it. It had everything as I said C.I.B. I kick myself daily in the ass for that mind you, that was before the retro nostalgia boom happened.

I feel kinda bad for the guy who sold me complete-in-case Kuon & Rule of Rose for $40 each.

So…

Uh…

I might have sold Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 for money. My sister got White 2 back in the day and I had Black 2. They were both complete (all the original inserts, including the Genesect promotion).

I didn’t get as much for them as I should have. I regret it to this day.

I dont know if this counts as a sale, but I gived away to charity my:

PS2 + 8 games
Nintendo 64 + 6 games
GameCube + 16 games (really expensive ones)
Wii + 4 games

It might be the moral good choice, but it still haunt me to this day. I now have to rebuild my collection.

Well, this is far better than most.
I hope those kids got some great stuff, as I’m sure you had a banger taste in games! It’s my dream to share the games I discover with as many people in my life as possible, so I find this kind of thing inspirational. Once I’m out of my younger years and into older adulthood, it might be a nice hobby to fix up systems and give them to charities to give the gift of retro games to the world.

That's awesome, dude! I'm not sure I would have had it in me to part with such a collection... And to make others happy no less!

I sold three Pokemon GBA games for $50 total a few years back. Even at the time it was a boneheaded move. I think I was looking at the prices for duplicates on ebay and didn't think twice.

I regret selling a lot of games in college for beer/cigarette money. I'd somehow come to the conclusion that I had outgrown gaming. Big Oof.

Sold my Vita, Pokemon SoulSilver, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Pokemon X, and a few other games. Since then I've bought a Vita in a color that I actually like and hacked my 3DS so I have digital versions of the games I lost.

2 games come to mind because usually I hit the jackpot.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days with the manual and holographic casing. Almost new condition. Sadly the buyer was GameStop and I think you all know how that went down.

Second was my copy of Pokémon Emerald for only $3 as of last year. But honestly I'm not too bummed out about that one. That was for a promise I made. A humbling experience for sure.

My PSVita collection and some 3DS/DS titles I've sold when the consoles where still alive, when for example at Gamestop you could still find used and not-so-expensive copies of them; I had some games that right now would sell nicely at higher prices, but oh well, I enjoyed them and I was glad I could re-sell them so to get some money back

I also feel sorry for you people who always took your games back at Gamestop for almost nothing ::sadkirby After understanding their prices for our used games, I always tried to bring back only games that could be useful to me (ex. for some sale/special offer they were doing for some pre-order I cared for), the rest I sold it on ebay; maybe I haven't earned so much, but surely more that what Gamestop could have paid.
