"Wonder Trek" English translation (PS1)

Some people have asked about this, so I'm posting this to let everyone know I'm working on this one and share the progress so far.

I'm actually not alone, currently working in this with the great Vervalkon, who's in charge of graphics and video editing.

Some pics and a clip attached. We're implementing a 6x12px font to get double the screen space against the original 12x12px Japanese font.

No ETA yet. More to come!

Thanks for the good vibes, everyone! It's nice to know I'm not the only one who was interested in this one, hahah.

Well, I think most of the heavy lifting is already done. Text routines are hacked, custom font is inserted. That's why I waited to announce the project (been working on this one since I released "Prisoner" last month), because I hate when a new promising translation gets hyped and then dropped.

I don't think we'll hit any major roadblocks anymore. It's just a matter of translating the remaining text and fine tuning wee bits here and there. Guesstimate is about 25% of all in game script is done. I don't want to commit to a date yet, but if everything goes well I'd say this should be done in a month, give or take.

Diría que el quilombo principal ya está resuelto y que pienso subir el código del patch a un repo público de Github como hago con todos mis proyectos, así que es bien factible Sería cuestión de agregar los glyphs que faltan para letras con tilde y la ñ, y retraducir todo al castellano, nomás.

Yeah, I'd been waiting for someone to translate this one for over ten years, until I decided to take matters into my own hands, haha.

There's so much obscure stuff on the PS1, I love it. The plan is to translate as much of it as I can.
