Wishlist of games you wish got translated

Hoping one day for a translation of the Japanese version of Revelations: Persona for PSX. It's so hopeless that I've been learning Japanese so I could play a version of it that doesn't alter the music and UI/UX like the PSP version or have the awful localization of the original NA release for PSX.

Oddly enough, I want the other SRW DS and PSP games that never got a proper fan-translation, Goddannar, the PS2 and PSP Ultraman games, the PSP version of Tales of Rebirth. Kamen Rider All Rider Generation 1 & 2. Another series I want to see fan-translated is the rest of Sengoku Basara. Out of the many I can think of at the moment.

I swear I mentioned it in another thread that was like this, but SEGAGAGA. It’s an rpg on the Dreamcast where you work from within SEGA to get their things together by battling rogue employees, rogue characters from many of their franchises, and more. It’s absolutely WILD, and while it’s certainly an incorrect diagnosis of what was wrong with the company, it’s a unique reflection of the company’s collapse in the form of a playful RPG. Translation efforts have been going for years, and I think part of the reason why it’s not been done is due to the game’s obscurity. So, I’ll mention it whenever I can!

Plus, fun fact: the game takes place in 2025! So, it’s the perfect year to learn about this game if you never have before!

Yeah that's one of the Holy Grails for sure. It's always been rougher for Sega RPGs and fan translations (probably because the RPG fanbase of that era were SNES and later PS1 kids, and Sega fans were less nerdy overall and less likely to get into a hobby like romhacking), hence why Surging Aura still isn't translated. If it was Nintendodo, or if Surging Aura was on the SNES, they would've both been done 15 years ago.

Also though, Surging Aura is probably not as good at it looks, judging by what I've played of the French translation. It looks like Phantasy Star IV, but unless they cut out all the text to make it fit in the FR version, it doesn't have much of a story or character development at all. Rent A Hero turned out to be a banger, though, so I have higher hopes for SegaGaGa.

This one is currently being translated and is just taking a while but a bunch of Marmalade boy games are getting translated! I'm stoked lol. (They've been working on this project for four years and are still posting updates so you should go check them out!)

Surprisingly excellent hidden gem with some really cool mechanics, replay value, and a neat alternative continuation of the Espoir arc.
