Hi. Was wondering how to get the DLC working in Pulse on this game.

I am able to access it for Pure, but with Pulse it only shows the base game tracks.

The files have been put in the right location.

Thanks

Which ones were these, the Vita or PSP games?
PSP is bit weird as some DLC is saved to SAVEDATA folder, some go straight to GAME folder, sometimes game will store some DLC(ish) stuff on both.

Apparently it should be SAVEDATA folder but that you are not only one experiencing this type of quirk. Could test myself personally but I cannot right away.

PSP.
This data is meant to go in Save Data. So I put it there.
Even renamed the folder, as the games in this collection use a different game ID.

The target folder is different between the two games, it's the same for both retail and mod:
  • WipEout Pure -> PSP/SAVEDATA/(GameID)
  • WipEout Pulse -> PSP/GAME/(GameID)
From the readme of the custom WipEout Pulse DLCs:
Installation:
-------------
ms0:/PSP/GAME/WPCE02025
The content is loaded correctly if they are stored like this:
  • PPSSPP: (PPSSPP folder)/PSP/GAME/WPCE02025/(DLC name).edat
  • PSP/PSVita: ms0:/PSP/GAME/WPCE02025/(DLC name).edat

Ah. So Pulse goes in GAME.

Thanks

I put it in the GAME folder. It still didn't load the extra tracks.

Guess I'm stuck using FX300 edition for Pulse unfortunately.

FX350 is too old and irrelevant. From Portable Collection, when the WipEout Pulse banner is highlighted, press Down again to select the "alternative" version of WipEout Pulse (which is just the same game but with an incompatible weapon disabled).

In the readme that comes with each DLC, there is often important information in it that should be read.
For the "WipEout Pure Tracks" DLC, it says the tracks from WipEout Pure are not compatible with the Quake weapon in WipEout Pulse because of compatibility issues, which is why they are only available using the alternative version, it disables this weapon to make them playable and nothing else.
