I still keep buying Playstation games but only older once Ps3 Ps4 and below never Ps5 games not that those would even exist to begin with.
And I am sure as the Amen in Church that I won't gonna buy a Ps6 ever.

Unfortunately, PS5 is my last stop. I wish they still continued making PS5 games physically tho! But ill just be buying PS4-5 games used like I have always been doing this gen. They WONT get a penny from me in hardware or any new console since my first model PS5 is still going strong.

Issue is that there are no platforms to switch to. Xbox rn is in a state of panic, you cannot afford a PC unless you want to deal with the troubleshooting headache that is the BC250, and Nintendo... idk Nintendo is probably fine I don't really care about them anymore

Based Choices all of them I Personally don't own a Ps1 but my brother has one I do have Ps1 Games but my Ps2 and Ps3 can run them just fine.

I also was not really interested in the Ps5 it barely had any games then and it barely has any games now and its not even that new anymore and still has barely any games that is just pathetic.

I would Recommend getting a Ps3 and Modding its a great Console but check the Model number since not every Ps3 is compatible with custom firmware.
There should be a website somewhere where you can check that.

I know, I'm just thinking of like what a person like that could switch to if the recent news has persuaded them to drop Sony. Cause Xbox also has planned to get rid of physical games for a long time, and getting a decent gaming PC right now, unless you get a BC250, is unattainable for nearly everyone.

I think I'm going to buy a PSP; it has several games I like, anime and calm games, but for now I'm going to focus my resources on a Nintendo Switch, which has a game I'm in love with.

Still got lots to do with my PS5 even if Sony is going all weird moving forward. But for big games I probably buy much much less, my internet is horrendously bad where I live so I can’t download 120gb games + updates every time I want to shuffle games around even if I was okay with digital only, little games are fine but bigger cost games I want in my house at least.

I never buy new consoles until a couple years after, don’t really want a high powered Gaming PC either if I can avoid it but I’m gonna wait for the dust to settle anyways.

I was already losing interest with the PS4 and bought it late in the console's cycle. PlayStation used to be the weeb console, and it peaked with the PS2. I didn't go with Xbox because they were targeting more western demographic. The PlayStation brand is no different today. With their anti-consumer practices on top of their biased censorship policies, I'm done.

I've had every Playstation console since PS1, except a Vita.
These days though my prefered console for multi-console titles is PC. And by "these days" I mean for the last 10 years or so.
So I have a PS5 to play PS4/5 games but I really only play exclusives on it. Of those games I do have, 90% were already digital. So this wont affect me much. Sony releasing their first-party games on PC is doing more to lead me away from Playstation than anything else, actually.

I think its scummy for them to drop physical media entirely, but its not surprising. Somebody was going to be the first one to do it -- and doing it (in my opinion) was inevitable. I feel like physical media will eventually be phased out the same way film was phased out. Not 100% extinct but rare and novel.
Unfortunate but seemingly inevitable.

I can't remember the last time I've bought a sony product that wasn't second hand. I recently got another ps2 during a garage sale. (you can never have too many ps2s)
I'll support sony when they start making CRT tvs again...

I stopped with getting both PS3, and PS4 each with a handful of games for them. Xbox was generally better, and Steam is second to none.

The last Sony product I bought was the Playstation Classic. If they make a PS2 Classic I'll probably buy that, but it would be hard to get PS2 games running well on a dinky little ARM processor so I'm not holding my breath. I emulate PS3 and there's nothing on PS4/PS5 that interests me that I can't just run on my PC. Sony just doesn't know how to market to people like me, so they won't be getting any more of my money until they learn.

I have not suported Nintnedo, Nor Microstards nor Sony for the past 15 years.
I got my PS4 and PS5 second hands so the only people that got money where the ones selling me the system.
I have not baught a game for PS4 or PS5 in years and if I do buy a game well it´s always pre-owned as that´s cheaper for me so yet again sony se no money from me.

Last time I got an xbox was the 360 also pre-owned.

Last time I suported Nintendo was with the 3DS. Yes I own a switch but I did not pay a dime for it my partner paid but only reason we even got it was for the kids that don´t live at home :(.


So monetary wise I have not supported them in years I always buy pre-onwed and if does 3 morons wanna kill them self let them do it I have 0 respect for any company that has 0 respect for their consumer´s.

And if we are lucky and Nintendo shit´s in the blue cupboard maybe then we can get zelda on PC that RUNS at 60 to 120 FPS and not on what ever cheap old hardware Nintendo use in their shitty consoles.
I mean I have a Laptop 10 years older than the Switch 2 and yet more powerful. Hell even my mid price Desktop PC is stronger than the Switch 2.
