Can someone please come up with a backstory or reason why someone would put a skittles sticker on a copy of shinning in the darkness for Genesis?
Like I'm not even upset, I just want someone to come up with a reason why someone would put a sticker on a SEGA Genesis game out of all things to put a sticker on

In the 90s, some kid kept getting hopelessly lost in the game and finally snapped. After one especially bad run, he decided the game wasn’t just hard...
It was straight up chaotic evil.

So he slapped the sticker right on the cartridge as a warning to himself.

Years later, it just looks like some weird crossover that never happened… but really it was just one kid losing his mind in a dungeon.

Just to use the sticker than let it remain unused. I dumped stickers in a journal, before tiktok junk journaling made it cool, just to use it instead of getting an angry mom at putting them on the wall.

No doubt in my mind, this was a sibling’s doing. Either benign (a younger sibling just putting stickers wherever they will fit) or malicious (older sibling messing with a younger sibling’s favorite game).
