No, Instead of being part of the console's main software, Windows CE was built right into some game discs. When you played one of those games, the console would load CE and the needed API's to run that specific game.Doesn't the Dreamcast and Xbox run windows CE? Wouldn't that make it easier to emulate theoretically?
So I imagine that kinda backfires on top of it. I was already aware of the fact that Dreamcast emulation is way better than Xbox but I thought that would also have an impact on Dreamcast emulation. This is why I've never tried xemu. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate what the devs are doing but I don't think it's well polished enough like say pcx2 or the dolphin emulatorNo, Instead of being part of the console's main software, Windows CE was built right into some game discs. Again, I'm not 100% sure how it loads what in what order...So I imagine that kinda backfires on top of it. I was already aware of the fact that Dreamcast emulation is way better than Xbox but I thought that would also have an impact on Dreamcast emulation.
