I once knew a guy who, during a group chat and after someone else wrote "duck tape" for some reason, went on a full 10-minute typing rant about how it's "duct tape." Including using pronunciation he copy/pasted from dictionary.com or someplace. Repeatedly. When the guy was finally done, the guy who had typed "duck tape" finally replied, "I was using the brand name, you bloody twat."

I only remember this as that reply got me to snort Dr. Pepper out my nose in laughter. One remembers those things.

How else are you supposed to maintain your ducks?
