I hear you.

It's by no means a perfect system, but there's a good way around that: click the "report" button, write what you wanna say and we will read it.

Now, of course, this isn't how that's supposed to work and I really don't wanna be addressing concerns that way, but you brought a valid point to the table and I wanted to acknowledge it.
thank you. I'm sorry that my posts are very long and detailed, but it's made me very concerned to at all voice my concerns or thoughts. Realistically, I find it to be absurd that people wouldn't be able to know or read that the repro is what it is for. Why is it that when I get to talk about whatever I want, literally anyone could respond and it could quite literally be any topic, maybe even quite educational. But is it really worth the bandwidth to just say my favorite character is "hot" and lock that off along with the mental health thread of all things?

@Spike I'm very sorry to @ you. But do you have any thoughts on what I said? Because I get it's been some time now. But I really do not like how this is, and I don't know. Some of this seems sorta sketchy ngl.

I'm not trying to accuse you, but isn't there a way for you or other admins to possibly unlock these sorts of threads? I understand the concern of us level 0s causing problems for you. But, can you at least understand mine too? It seems that this locking wasn't just for DMs. What gives?

It's not like I can DM you about this. So... This is kind of what you wanted if someone like me has a problem. I'm sorry, but this is kind of the only option you've given people like me.

I figured I might as well add on, because I think this is also a very important detail while I'm still here, because ngl. I'm very upset right now about this. Because I can prove objectively that the staff team isn't disclosing everything they need to to not only level 0s, but levels 1-7 just based off of what I know of my experiences alone. So, I think this should be an important read. As this affects EVERYONE.

I didn't remember to mention this as I sort of forgot that the link @Spike sent me on that level questions thread didn't work as I didn't have access. I have a screenshot attached. But, if you can't even tell us the actual rules of what each level user does, and you can't even give us something to read that you EXPECT US TO READ how could I or anyone in good faith believe what you told me? If this is about not having strangers talk to people they don't know... Then why even let anyone talk to each other on this website to begin with? Why not communicate that some threads, and some parts of this website won't be accessible? In fact, things not being accessible was not communicated to users when they got here. Maybe when they signed up, but you'd need to prove that first. Wouldn't a more manual review be more effective in discerning whether or not a person is legitimate anyways over how many times they posted anyways? Even if that would be a lot of time and resources to do for each individual user.

How don't these changes negatively impact users who don't post as frequently is now my question.
And how could you have acted like this wouldn't have had negative effects exactly?
If you want people to approach you about problems, hiding things whether intentionally or not, and making it impossible to communicate directly to you in the most mature and professional means one could while also brushing off concerns by moving goal posts because you have your own feelings and opinions about the site isn't going to change that problem you have with people where they give you more problems than apparently copyright holders.

any "drama" that comes of that, is on you. And anyone who choses to not communicate civilly, maturely is at least in my perspective not going to be entirely on them from my perspective. Because who wouldn't be angry at someone who won't even tell them what they can and cannot do in their own digital home when they're treating us as a welcomed guest or a member of a community but cannot communicate everything we need to know directly?

Because this will now bring up the question, what else are the staff team hiding from not just me, but the rest of the users who use this site? And when things move along and change, how transparent are the staff team going to be? Because either @Spike wasn't properly informed, or he blatantly lied to me. Either way, this doesn't seem to align with the best interests of the users of this site in my opinion. And I think more attention should be called to it. These things should and must be communicated. Otherwise, there's no point in asking any of you questions.

from a level 0 who can't even read the goddamn faq.

I'm sorry if I'm being dramatic, but honestly I want to know why is it that level 0s are treated less than dirt, and why is it that the mod team thinks that we're not owed some honesty or transparency here. Because this is really fucking sketchy.
