What kind of emulator you use? Pc or phone?I understand the PlayStation 1 was kinda weak cuz sometimes it was 30 to 20fps but why psp?
NtscI don't know, but maybe the game doesn't run well on the emulator or it was badly programmed.
Is the version PAL or NTSC?
Phone on ppsspp and i always use vulkan if it runs bad on opengl when i tried the games they both were 20fpsWhat kind of emulator you use? Pc or phone?
I recommend use vulkan for better performance and make sure emulator don't make graphics and resolutions too hight!
Rip3 out of 5 of the PSP Harry Potter titles were releases that coincided with a movie release (namely Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, and Half-Blood Prince) and thus the games needed to be completed at the same time the movies did. Rushed development is likely the cause of their performance issues.
As far as I'm aware, the games generally run poorly on official hardware as well, based off of reviews at the time of their release.Ihaven't played the games personally.
Thas poo if this is fr then they were fr rushedEven the PC titles had issues with performance and bugs from what I heard.
I only played one or two games and it was so long ago that I don't remember much.
I agree that the rushed development is a factor, the games were likely not optimised by the developers.
Okay check resolution and some other settings to lower the graphics. Sometimes even games like final fantasy tactics lions wars get lag and low FPS.Ntsc

literally when i tried it it was 20fps on the lowest resolutionOkay check resolution and some other settings to lower the graphics. Sometimes even games like final fantasy tactics lions wars get lag and low FPS.
In fact 20 FPS isn't bad that much.
Then maybe the game can't go over that... I don't know if there's a way you can override such a limit.literally when i tried it it was 20fps on the lowest resolution
Is it ppsspp gold version or simple version. I think golden have better performance.literally when i tried it it was 20fps on the lowest resolution
Well then I can say I see all the animation of some games in cinematic.it makes them cinematic
Games like ben 10 protector of earth on ppsspp work at 55fps and 1080 (if i put the hz to 110) and games like gow and lego batman on it can run at 60fps and 720 but somehow dante Inferno can only run at 2x resolution when i play on 60fps and my specs are kirin 710f and 4 gbs of ram (can run ps2 gcn and wii good and some 2d switch stuff)Then maybe the game can't go over that... I don't know if there's a way you can override such a limit.
What are your phone's specifications? Do other games run ok?
I have simple btw if u have golden then actually try a harry potter game (not the halfblood prince one) and tell me how it works cuz i aint paying for itIs it ppsspp gold version or simple version. I think golden have better performance.
Phones can't emulate heavy games like PCs.
Sarcasm?it makes them cinematic
LolWell then I can say I see all the animation of some games in cinematic.
I think it could be the game itselfI understand the PlayStation 1 was kinda weak cuz sometimes it was 30 to 20fps but why psp?
Harry potter and the order of the phoenix but i dont think theres any code for itI think it could be the game itself
Anyway, if you're on ppsspp (normal or gold version doesn't matter) you should try using some cheat code which works as a resolutive patch for the frames (i.e. it forces a game to run at a specific frame rate): there are several for many games. Not sure about Harry Potter, though...
What's the title in your case?
Which version of ppsspp tho? And how do i set watever that is to 333?Checked my cheats database and... nope, unfortunately there's no frames cheat for Order of the Phoenix
However, you could try:
- Switching from vulkan to opengl and setting the rendering resolution to 2x.
- Or try lowering the CPU frequency to 333MHz (if it's too high) or even a bit less.
Time ago, I did it on some games that were quite laggy, and it worked to me![]()
Wait 2x isn't bigger and higher resolution????Checked my cheats database and... nope, unfortunately there's no frames cheat for Order of the Phoenix

It is i think 2x is 480p or smth like thatWait 2x isn't bigger and higher resolution????
I'm not sure but as I saw in another site it means it will make resolution higher. By doubling pixels.....It is i think 2x is 480p or smth like that
Mine is 1.18.1 standardWhich version of ppsspp tho? And how do i set watever that is to 333?
OkeI'm not sure but as I saw in another site it means it will make resolution higher. By doubling pixels.....
Got it right and did it but still 20Mine is 1.18.1 standard
As for the rendering:
Settings -> Graphics -> then "Backend" to switch vulkan/opengl and "Rendering Resolution" to set 2x PSP (I keep this value because at 1x graphics is a bit grainy)
As for the MHz:
Settings -> System -> then scroll down where it says "Change emulated PSP's CPU clock". A slider will appear wher you can set the MHz value.
The newest but fr i agree with games running better on older but oh well now that theres no solution imma just deal wit itThen, my friend, there's not much you can do, I'm afraid
It almost looks like Voldemort doesn't want you to play this game...
In any case: what's the version of your ppsspp?
You know, some times it happens that some games run Better on previous (or even older) versions.
