Yeah, I'm logged into Ko-fi. But whenever I go to send you a message it only gives me the "Donate" pop-up. It does give me the option to send a message on that pop-up, but requires I donate along with it.

We modified it so you still get all the level 7 perks while also leveling up like the rest of us.

I'm glad it was changed to how it is now. It felt kind of jarring to suddenly be level 7 haha. We have the perks, but still get the sense of satisfaction of leveling up, there are no downsides.

It happened suddenly to me too! I thought it only happens to people with 5,000 messages, and I only have 3,400 so i thought something else changed! Your message confirmed to me that it was indeed the kofi badge.
In any case, remember to mark a solution here if you feel your question has been answered!

How do you even post 5000 messages? I don't think I've made that many comments in my 20 years on YouTube.
