I really love Burrn from moon: Remix RPG Adventure.
He sells you music labels and records which then allow you to listen to them everywhere you go and create your very own mixtapes with them.

He's very unique in the idea that you cannot listen to the music before you buy them. Instead, he offers you a review of every song he offers alongside showing you their CD visual, and he says "Choose the very ones you want, the one that speaks to your soul."

After buying some of the tapes, you can talk to him and enter a little quiz he offers with the music he sells. If you get all of the answers right, he pauses for a while, then decides here and there that thanks to your enthusiasm for music he considers you his first true friend for being such a cultured soul.

Often times too, when you keep a little distance from him when you enter the cave he resides in, he attempts to do guitar solos. Leave him like this for a while, and it's actually a requirement for obtaining a monster soul in the same cave.

Higsby from Megaman Battle Network-huh!

He's only relevant in 1 (boss fight) and 5 (part of playable team) and mostly absent or in the background in the other titles-huh, but his shop always has something useful in each game-huh.
(he always says -huh at the end, -huh)

Just look at this fella, an eye-patch wearing, chain smoking piggy. I bet he has some stories to tell.

shopkeeps with unique sentence quirks are quite the fine breed -huh. he would probably be a fan of the juvenile song "ha" -huh

Christopher from Shadows of the Damned, and Tatiana from Evil Within 2. She has a much better personality in the second game.

My God 😖 I've never felt so terrified choosing an upgrade as I did in "Evil Within".
You get used to it. Though that was kind of the point of the upgrade room/Tatiana in the first game. She "helps" you, but there is clearly something slightly off about her.

Love the shopkeeper from Crypt of the NecroDancer just for the fact that when you get close to the shop you can hear him singing the current song. Always thought it was silly and still gets a chuckle outta me

Seamus from the first town of The Bard's Tale. He may look like a thumb, but he really knows how to sell you anything In such fine detail, and one phrase to live by.

"It's a fact, a warrior Is only tough as his weakest armour. Plenty of folks have bought the cheap stuff but none of them have been repeat customers If you take my meaning."

(Set to play at the store)

Blackjack from "Killzone Mercenary".
