Used CDR all the time, Found the repo here a while back after the relocation and by chance stumbled onto the forum. I think it was in april? Been here ever since. I absolutely love this place!

Been using CDR for ages, saw that they moved here. So, here I am.

Joined the forums in February. I was an avid user of the original version of the repo (something about romance on CDs?) and I came to the forum because I needed N64 roms for a flash cart I just got. Eight months have passed, but it feels like years. I’ve gone on quite the gaming journey in that time, and I’ve been very thankful to hear from older gamers who are happy to share their wisdom gained over the course of the hobby.


I admit, many threads that are popular in the last three months are more aggressive in tone. Not that I don’t understand it: almost no company is performing anything good to the consumer right now. Even the PC market is in a strange place where it feels like it’s controlled by influencers trying to one up each other with ridiculous rigs. But the bulk of the anger is towards the main console manufacturers. Nintendo is abusing their power and influence, PlayStation is stagnant and resting on their laurels, and XBox has been bleeding out for a decade with us only now starting to see the light dim from their eyes. I’ve been a huge proponent of the SEGA section of the forums, and while that’s mainly due to just what I’m interested in playing and seeing discussed, I’ve felt a fair few times that I was happy to be in a section of the forums with less drama.

It’s because of that kind of energy that I’ve found myself drifting from the forums in recent times, but I obviously always return with lots to say when I feel like I can make people smile with a topic again. For me, RGT is about how cool video games and their history is, and I intend to continue to approach the forums with that mindset.

I don't remember exactly when I joined, I think it was in February. I mostly signed on since ᏟDᏒ was down, but seeing a community to talk about games looked awesome to me.
I've been off for a while due to mounting responsibilities, but I'm glad to see the community's still thriving.

To be honest, at first, I only registered here because CDR mandated it. I had been going to CDR since my old utorrent days, late 2000s? I can't remember clearly. But the funny thing is, when I registered here, the forum enticed me. I wanted an active community that was into emulation and retro gaming, but most of the places I used to go to are now dead.

Turns out there was more here than emulation.

I know CDR back 2017 this my site to get fan translate Clock Tower ps1 ver this Vimm and Romspure (old one) are my go to get games roms

When it was now a RGT I immediately sign up last Dec but I didn't know at had fourms. So yeah in April I started hang out in forum and thr rest is history.

I visit this website alot, so very grateful & huge thanks to Spike, Mods & the community. Got to finally play some awesome games i never thought possible.

Using Spike's services since Nicoblog/Nitroblog (I don't remember which came first) and if there was a website before these I may have used it before it too since I'm using ROM websites since early 2000s but these websites didn't ask for you to register before so I have no idea if they had a forum back then, and for me to notice this website has a forum was a luck thing TBH and then here I'm: Came to download ROMs and stayed for the forum too lol.

I remember a previous site that had to go down and found out the repo was moved here. Made an account to gain access to the repo. Eventually halfway into the year, I decided to be somewhat active on the forums. Love this place.

I was here for the ROMs and ROMhacks back in CDR era, but never looked into discussions or anything. When the place started requiring sing-up for using it, now as RGT, I did that.

And then I saw the forum, seemed peaceful and nice- A month in I still think this place is peaceful and nice.
