Who is this character? Is her game good?

So, I was visiting some pages, got to https://eludevisibility.org/ and the site has sprites walking in the background, one of them was this one and now I'm intrigued

At first thought she was Terra from FF6, but it can't be a fanart of her nor have I seen any more sprites similar to it, and google lens only shows me images of Ayla, Terra, Lum, among others so I'm totally lost

Correct! It's just a random NPC from Secret of Mana. She walks around and does little dancing twirls occasionally.

I'd agree. It was always a mixed bag and, unfortunately, it has aged poorly.

I always disliked how Secret of Mana handled missing attacks and the original translation is trash if I remember correctly, but with a better fan translation in place, I'd definitely call it a decent game. Fantastic soundtrack, too.
