Which weapons in video games are not useful in real life?

This freaking keyblade.
I...don't know where to start. How do you wield it? It must be heavy as hell and impossible to swing.

And... What's that thing in the middle between the two Kingdom Keys!?
The Keyblade is a bludgeon, not a blade! There's no sharp edge.

Thinking just as weapons, they are pretty useless together, but as they have magic to work together, it seems smarter to use one in each hand.

one of the first characters that comes to mind when I hear the phrase "Which weapons in video games are not useful in real life?" I always remember cloud's

Lol I was just about to say unless your actually super human there's no way you could wield Cloud or Seph's swords. lol have you seen how they both move around with these weapons...shits crazy lol.

Normal Kingdom Key, to me always looked more blunt force due to how its shaped. Doesn't look like its capable of slicing things, but bashing things instead lol.

Like you see car keys and see how thin they are, then you see Sora's Keyblade and it looks like hitting someone with it would hurt still.

Any Railgun (not the Quake kind, the electromagnetic rail momentum based used by the military) as a portable weapon.

Too powerful for human while requiring too much energy so you'd have to carry a battery backpack.

See: the Proton Pack from Ghostbusters as well.

I'll also add any kind of bladed weapon in a post-automatic firearm era (aside from a knife).

Thanks to video games I am weirdly familiar with a very wide selection of premodern weapons like tonfa, halberds, bardiches, guandao, chakram, etc. Most of these weapons had very specific historical uses but weren't all-purpose battlefield tools like they're often depicted.

Probably one of the more memorably impractical weapons is Tira's giant bladed hoop from the Soulcalibur games. Self-mutilation waiting to happen. Cool character though.

I'd love to see a character using rope dart.

I believe you can use them in Assassin's Creed 3 and 4. Also, I'm not sure if what Scorpion uses as a projectile in the Mortal Kombat games is one or not, but it seems to act like one.

Dope, thass wassup!
I never played AssAssin's Creed, so I wouldn't know.
Game looked too Ezio for me. ?
Sorry; did I  kill the mood?

Apparently, the Chu Ko Nu (repeating crossbow) from Age of Empires II. Used to tear it up with that in the game.

I'm also going to give it to the severed arm weapon from VtM: Bloodlines ;)

How about one that's so often the opposite: shotguns. Devastating weapons but 50% of shooters think they're airsoft guns past about 10 feet
