New Challenger
one of the first characters that comes to mind when I hear the phrase "Which weapons in video games are not useful in real life?" I always remember cloud's
It depends on the type of stick, it is literally raw wood.A stick. In jrpg games the hero always begins his adventure armed with a stick, a pot on his head and a pot lid as a shield.
for sure jajajajjaWould the oversized boot from Super Mario Bros 3 count?
I think the only concrete example of dual wielding working, and well, was with myamoto musashi, the swordsman who used a long sword and a short sword, one defending the other to attack, and which was based on drumming techniques.Dual-wielding in general.
Throughout history there is very little evidence for it ever being used in actual combat. Sure, there are some schools that have taught certain techniques, but since it (apart from, like, the main guache) essentially means fighting without an added means of defense, you’d not see it in real battle, outside of fencing, and certain martial arts which mainly use it to train both sides of the body simultaneously.
Still stylish in games though
This is really funny, imagine you're in the middle of a shootout, and you see a guy pointing a gun up to reload, at least it's faster to reload than a MUSKETESUNLIGHTTTTTTTT
Dual wielding isn't fair since it's such a broad term, dual wielding knives is very viable for example, though probably still wasn't common historically.I think the only concrete example of dual wielding working, and well, was with myamoto musashi, the swordsman who used a long sword and a short sword, one defending the other to attack, and which was based on drumming techniques.

Officially Eloy Casagrande is the next strongest swordsman.

piko piko hammer, it's basically Chapolin's hammer, or Thor's, but she's really small, so the hammer looks big, she's literally 88cm (or 2'11 if you use inches and feet)Might be Amy Rose’s piko piko hammer since it’s based on a children toy. Amy does fine with it because she’s just build different

Dual sabers, but only as a slashing weapon, if used similarly to a spear however, is a EXTREMELY effective weapon, nunchaku in general aren't great weapons and were mainly used for strangling.
he would probably climb up trying to hold that heavy mace, like in a pole dance.Anything Xu Zhu uses in Dynasty Warriors. Good luck lifting a nearly 3 foot wide stone sphere on a pole.

“they could’ve used anything, and they used a fucking leaf!!”
Realistically speaking, there's no way something like Leaf Shield could work in reality.
using a very realistic world, if it were more like a short dagger, it would be much more efficient, basically it would be a mini bayonet, you could parry sword attacks, shoot and attack, and in your other hand use a real sword to control the distance , like pirates (or as a vampire hunter.)The Gunblade from Final Fantasy 8. It's literally the worst of both worlds. It's a melee weapon, so it doesn't have the advantage a gun has with range. And the handle, which is reminiscent of a revolver's, looks awkward to hold and keep a grip on after swinging it for awhile, thus being worse than an average sword hilt. Plus the feature of hitting the trigger to cause an explosion in the middle of slicing your foe is pointless, since you're already slicing into them.
If I had to choose between it and a sturdy stick, I'd pick the stick any day of the week.
Is this a quote from somewhere?“they could’ve used anything, and they used a fucking leaf!!”
Keith richards disagrees with your opinion.hatever the bards was using
Yeah I didn’t specify where because the source is sadly not as interesting as the quote itself. Big man tyrone is a guy I respect, but I don’t respect the stuff that people pay him to say and I can’t fault him cuz he’s trying to get paid and probably doesn’t wouldn’t understand if he said harmful stuff due to cultural barrierIs this a quote from somewhere?
So, would it be something like a combination sword? Here's an example of what I'm talking about: https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/25075using a very realistic world, if it were more like a short dagger, it would be much more efficient, basically it would be a mini bayonet, you could parry sword attacks, shoot and attack, and in your other hand use a real sword to control the distance , like pirates (or as a vampire hunter.)

That would have some merit, though it would still be a single shot weapon.
I still stand by what I said about the Gunblade design in FF8. That weapon as envisioned in that world, not a real world adaptation with a more practical design, just wouldn't work at all.
