Which version of Rayman 2 The Great Escape should I do?

I think the Sega Dreamcast and PC versions are the best versions and at the same time the best ways to play the game.
Which Dreamcast Emulator is the best suited? I'm using ReDream for PSO and Sonic games.

Anyway, I ended up buying Rayman 2 on GoG since it's in sales (as well as Rayman 1 Forever).

i remember playing through a lot of it on PC around 2017 and it was fun so you shouldnt be missing out by playing pc version

Rayman 2 Revolution isn't that bad, and I think it's much better than the PS1, DS, and 3DS versions. However, it does have some flaws. Overall, the Dreamcast version is the best version of the game.

I recommend you download Flycast, it's by far the best Dreamcast emulator.

3ds version can be played better with a hacked new 3ds.

Wanted to suggest PSX since i played the heck out of it as a kid, however after playing the GOG version i realized that maybe i got rosy retrospective on it

That said, i may give a shot to DC since people here has suggested it a lot

The GoG release with Rayman Control Panel and Ray2Fix is a must just for widescreen, a proper windowed support and pad control.

I'm surprised GoG didn't negotiate to have it by default.

I grew up with the Dreamcast version and recently played through the GOG version (with Ray2Fix). The Dreamcast version is essentially on par with the PC version aside from the fact that it has some more content (such as the Globox village, and an extended ending cutscene). Overall I'd say you can't go wrong with either but Dreamcast is definitely the definitive version out of the box.

I'm hoping one day there's a patch for the GOG version that adds the Dreamcast extras.
