Homestretch now!

Grin and bare it that little whole longer and then you never have to deal with those dickhead neighbours again! Kudos for persevering and congrats on the upcoming move.

will you be travelling far?
U can do it Ran! I believe in you! U are one of the strongest ppl I know!

I dunno. I'd probably turn into Bass, whose life objectively sucks. I'd rather not.
But don't you want to be the best

Nah, I'm moving to a better place in the same general neighborhood. I'm mostly just excited to be cut free from this gig and move on. I have another work-from-home job lined up that hopefully won't require me to deal with drunken co-workers and neighbors.

I hear that. A new job is always an exciting fresh start. No more wreck heads is a bonus too xD
I enjoy working from home as it allows me to smash DMT bongs and chill with crystal elves between video calls.
(Just kidding, but it would make my job way more exciting).

LOL never mind then.

It's a pretty sweet setup honestly after 10+ years of customer-facing work. Funnily enough I did way more self-medicating when I was regularly interacting with folks (go figure)
i'm glad it's working out. No, actually i believe and understand why that would be case now. regarding self-medicating i mean.

Thank you, sincerely. I'm trying to build a better life, and it's slow going! And I'm terrified that somehow things are gonna backslide now that things slowly seem to be improving. But I guess that's only natural.

Anywhom'st, has anyone found time to watch or play anything, or go somewhere, outside of work and other responsibilities? I went to a nearby village the other day and it was really nice to get away for a bit. Even though it was less then an hour's drive away, it felt very new to me.

I've been sneaking in some Doom Dark Ages in the openings I can find. I've been enjoying it, though it took a while to really get going compared to the last two.

Yes. My better life is slow-going too. And I am indeed terrified that it will all fall apart for myself.
I went down to the pier in my area the other day. that was nice, and new. mostly though, whenever i get an idea to relax, i just fall asleep for something like a day and half instead. /true waking up the next morning to do it all again.

Awww yeah everything I see of the new DOOM looks savage as f*ck! I love how much of a lumbering death-mobile they've made him now. Makes me wanna listen to down-tuned riffs so disgustingly chuggy that they could drown the devil if he was dying of thirst.

Rome wasn't built in a day, and all that jazz. Oh yeah I remember you saying you were off to the pier. Did inspiration strike in the end, or, just as good, did it afford you the opportunity to not think about anything at all?
I could really, REALLY do with sleeping more. I average about 5-6 hours of light sleep a night and that sounds sort of ok but really I know it should be more.

i ended writing a little more of my book i'm going to try to get published while i was down at that pier.
as far as sleep goes, i just pass out- even with something else i want to do on my mind.

Nice work. It must be quite rewarding to see your world and characters slowly coming to life. On the brief occasion I've tried creative writing, it feels great to mete out a line that meets the music.
