...Slightly yeah! But! I do love KH for what it is as well. It has the great combat and the fun "What if..." style scenarios! Sora is a fun character to play as, and the maps (especially in 2) rule! They somehow feel small yet expansive at the same time. Also, the slick UI and tonnes of superbosses, that are actually difficult! Gotta love that. Oh and I love FF, so the crossover really works for me.

Just a shame the story is such a shambles. Too much light and dark dualism, not enough substance. It's the Star Wars of video games

Too much light and dark dualism, not enough substance. It's the Star Wars of video games​

This post hurts my soul. I could definitely give you that the films at least don't have as much substance to the light and dark dualism as they should, but so much of the expanded universe gives substance and complexity to it that KH doesn't even ever try to approach.
