I am not the type for fancy food places, i would just go with some pizza place, or some nice street stand either empanadas or skewered meat, i prefer to just go rustic and simple, and just hang out.If money wasn't an issue and you were taking someone on a first date out to eat, where would you take them and why?
I'd still prefer a chat in a coffee shop or a walk through the park if the weather is lovely. Even if money is no object, I'd like a first date to be something peaceful and humble.Goodness, there's always something new whenever I check this thread. In any given 5 hours, there might be 5 posts, or 5 pages of posts. I'm glad things are back to normal, whatever that is anyway. Season 2 was a little underwhelming but Season 3 seems to be doing well.
I missed all the truth or dare stuff, but the date questions were fun, I'll fire off another one.
If money wasn't an issue and you were taking someone on a first date out to eat, where would you take them and why? Could be a restaurant, a food cart, heck you could make them food yourself with whatever high-quality and/or rare ingredients you desire.
I'd take a prospective date out to a gimmicky but somewhat bougie sushi conveyor restaurant. It's not too loud, so it'd be easy to talk and get to know each other. Since you can order a small plate of food or grab one off the conveyor whenever, having to eat a bunch of food at once wouldn't be a problem that would disrupt the flow of conversation. Plus, it'd be a good way to observe their behavior. Do they play it safe and just order basic stuff like California Rolls? Do they go for something really crazy and gimmicky? Are they into sharing food, or do they only want to eat their own stuff? Or do they only tell me upon getting there that they don't like sushi and then it's a really awkward time? So many possibilities!
Maccies saver menu, with me asking "Are you gonna finish that?" before every bite.If money wasn't an issue and you were taking someone on a first date out to eat, where would you take them and why?
Nothing changes, we will get a take out and eat it at my crib.If money wasn't an issue and you were taking someone on a first date out to eat, where would you take them and why? Restaurant, for sure. An elegant place, where you can where something like a suit or at least a shirt. If money wasn't an issue and you were taking someone on a first date out to eat, where would you take them and why? I'd make something myself, i'd buy some nice steaks and would serve them with roast potatoes, roast vegetables and a red wine sauce. For dessert we would have a key lime pie.If money wasn't an issue and you were taking someone on a first date out to eat, where would you take them and why? You mean with a girl/woman or a boy/man?Good morning everyone! And/or afternoon/evening/Dark Hour/Witching Hour depending on what time zone you're in.
What is a date idea that you would refuse to participate in?
For me, it's bungee jumping. I do like doing outdoorsy things, and feeling adrenaline, but that is a tall bridge too far. I'm also not keen on skydiving, or anything to do with heights, but I'd gladly take that over bungee jumping. Most other things I'd probably be open to trying as long as I could leave if it wasn't enjoyable.
Like you medisinn anything that involves heights would be a real struggle as I get pretty severe vertigo. What is a date idea that you would refuse to participate in?
Anything too rich or excessive. I want to know and like the person for them, and them for me. Dropping a ton of money on a first date feels inauthentic, or like the person is trying too hard. This is why I prefer a simple first date, make sure we hit it off before we plan anything excessive.Good morning everyone! What about a hangout at an arcade or something like that?I dunno I actually hate dates overall even tho I've been on this thread since page 1 lmao
Still, if someone asked for a hangout with me I think I'd be up for anything as long as it don't involves wasting more than 30 dollars
