No, not really, my school in HS didn't even have a metal detector until some kid shot a gun in the bathroom and THEN it was implemented.

Malls in my area usually have Security at every corner to combat that, I can only assume they managed to sneak past somehow.

You say that, but bricks were a common weapon in my highschool for this exact reason (not the mammoth part). Growing up in a hard neighborhood sucks.

Unfortunate that AC died after 4. Origins was solid though. 3 was a particular favorite of mine when I played them all. Played, not finished btw. Still haven't beat Revelations. That's the last out of the classic ones I have yet to finish.
